Don't know about this particular version but I find the inkbird temperature probes die quite easily. I've gone through 4 probes with a Bluetooth model and two probes with their heavy duty temperature controller. They start showing incorrect temperature or just fail completely. Customer service however has been good.
Thats not great to hear.. However I've had excellent feedback from friends who own this currently, I was actually using a $26 Thermopro dual probe from Amazon for a few months now and never had any issues. Would hate to invest $100+ on something that won't perform well.
EDIT: This is also known to be their best version by far.
Absolutely love my I bbq-4t. It’s a huge improvement over the Bluetooth ones. The graph doesn’t disappear like those, it uploads to the cloud and you can view your temps from anywhere. Also waterproof and USB c rechargeable. Plus the coloured probes are handy to see which is which.

It looks like previous comments on the cheaper Bluetooth unit show that these are a good unit and the Wi-fi one doesn't don't come on sale too often.. so I bit the bullet ;-)
