Almond Meal $12/kg + Delivery @ Nuts About Life

Current cheapest almond meal I can find in Coles is $20/kg right now: https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/lucky-almond-me...

Blanched almond meal, slivered, and flaked are available as well: https://www.nutsaboutlife.com.au/collections/deals-corner

Free shipping for order over $100.

I have ordered twice from this company (previously posted almond and cashew deals) and have pretty good experience with this shop so far.

  • Thanks for posting this. The $10 referrer credit made the deal even better.

"FREESHIP discount code isn’t available for your shipping address"

    Damn =(
Some good prices there, cheap Quinoa also.

Yeah they use eParcel which discriminates based on where you live instead of choosing a flat rate Australia wide option. Unless they change or offer affordable options for people not close to Melbourne, they won't get my business.

Even Sendle or similar would be way cheaper.

      • Was $22 to QLD =(

Using someone's referral for $10 off made it a but more tolerable, but yeah some of the prices are just way better than the supermarkets so I did eventually end up placing an order. Probably not something I'll be doing on the regular though, especially outside of these sale things.

    have these almonds been milked?

  • This is a great price for almond meal. I usually buy in bulk from wholesalers for $11kg, but with free shipping this worked out cheaper, thanks OP!

This stuff normally costs an almond a leg…

    • haha…but some dullard negged you?!?

  • Postage to VIC $6.27 (5-10kg?) so not too bad actually so don’t need to go for $100 for free ship.

Looks like the blanched almond flour might be healthier so I got some of that with cashews which are just delicious.

    • so the code is for free shipping only over $100? damn thats a lotta nuts?!?

      • +1

Yeah, $100 for coupon free shipping. Try the shipping calculator to see if it’s better just to pay for shipping (I know it’s not the Ozbargain way to pay for shipping, but sometimes worth it!)

        • $6.27 outer metro …i guess not bad on 4kg
but yeh as a rule HATE paying for shipping :D

$13/kg at Costco, so if you can get free shipping this is a great deal.

    • do you have a link for this ? I can't find this item in costco's website.
Am also after almond flour - it hurts to pay $25+ at local health food stores :'(

    • I got from Costco the other weekend. Not good quality tbh.

  • Can someone send me a referrer credit? never mind i saw it above

  • Use code TAKEE10 for 10% off. Not sure if it stacks.

  • +2

It didn't accept the 5% TAKE5 discount it gave in return for my email address. It also did not apply the referral code that it gave in return for my email. Nor did it accept TAKEE10.

  • Such a mixed shop. Ordered ten items, 4 week great, the rest were average to poor quality.

Be careful of the salted pumpkin seeds, they are filled with rotten ones. Also the Mlukheya (Jews Mallow) was so dirty that it took several washes to clean it, with half going to waste. Several emails were ignored, so not sure if I would order again.

    • I agree, my almond meal was fine but the cashews I ordered were all off. They had such a strong chemical smell and taste, even after being aired out, made everyone fill ill when we tasted them. They did refund me the full amount for the cashews however.
