I just found this deal with the good guys.
Purchase any TV over 65 inches and get a year if Disney plus for free. Only available for new subscribers.
lol a whole $89 saving
Yeah, depending on the price of the TV, we're still only talking 3-10% in value. And who actually wants Disney+ for a whole year anyway? I'd rather them offer me a $20 power board, at least I'd use it.
Just make sure if u buy 2 tvs like I did u get two invoices as u will need to invoice numbers two 2 free subscriptions
I assume you can sell the code to someone?
Yep the code just gets emailed to you once you submit for the redemption. They even say you can gift it to a family member etc. as the code can only be used for new subscribers, not existing according to the t and cs.
Thanks op. I made a purchase 2 weeks ago. Zero mention of this by sales rep. Wanka
good chance sales rep had no idea.
Source- was a sales rep many moons ago. We received promotions maybe 2-3 days in advance tops
Yeh I’d say this is likely. The good guys I bought my LG from had no idea they and lg were running a promotion on free delivery and install. They went to charge me and I was like hey guys it’s free remember? Showed them on their site and they were super apologetic and clearly hadn’t been told by head office.
Also pairs with bonus cashback of up to $1100 on certain TVs. https://wch.thegoodguys.com.au/dxdam/pdf/bo_1528_tc.pdf?_ga=...
And free delivery and installation promotion on 75” and larger LG Oleds and nanocell TVs.
I just purchased a 77CX and utilised all 3 offers.
I pay just $30 AUD for yearly disney plus when i buy hotstar subscription from india. Has everything from disney along with indian shows.
FYI you need a vpn to use it here
Which vpn works flawlessly with hotstar? I got banned before.
You can try the following Android apps with India region selected:
V2VPN, VPN Monster, VPN Robot
If you install sideload launcher and Aptoide TV apk, you can run them on your android TV as well.
How much is the VPN?
@El Grande: those VPN apps are free to use with ads
Heard that they only stream up to Full HD, and with much lower bandwidth too, is that correct?
havent tried higher as I only have FHD tv (which is refusing to die to justify the new TV) :P
Should also check to see if the TV you buy has or can get Disney+ on it. My Q8 doesn't
