Was going to post this, glad someone has. Control is great

  • Man, Xbox has gamepass which is great, but there seem to be so many more deals on digital copies of games on PS4….

    • Control performs best on Xbox One X, so I think I’ll hold out for a deal on the XB version, but I’m tempted to whack it in the pro as that that price here is very nice…

  • How come sumarai shodown never goes on sale? :(

  • Control Season Pass is also on sale

  • If you're on the fence about starting control and plan on getting a PS5 in the next year, might want to wait till the update patch

    I am

    • Surely buying it now would still make sense? My intention is actually to play the season pass on PS5.

        Hence why I said "starting"

        • Though it's seems Remedy may make it a 'remastered' instead of a patch which would be a sneaky move and mean our current gen copies only benefit from 'boost mode' and they will only work if Control is considered to be in the 'top 100 games' from PS4.

I wish Remedy would clarify Control’s PS5/Series X release - if we buy the game for current gen hardware, do we get the next gen patch for free, or are they going to sell the game as a different version (probably include the DLC packs and call it an Ultimate Edition or some BS)?

    • Ah yeah just seen this. I think I assumed with a digital copy I'd just get the free upgrade to the PS5 version, but forgetting how awful Sony are being with backwards compatibility. Xbox seems like they will support it, but… xbox.

  • Monster Hunter is seemingly always on sale for $17.95

    • Probably because it's got a $60 DLC now, currently $35.97
