First time posting and hadn't seen this one on here yet so please remove if I've done anything wrong.

I saw someone post about it on another website and tried it and it works. The coupon is supposed to take $1000 off the RRP ($4899) and when I tried it also gave a cart promotion of an additional $194.95 off taking it down to $3704.05 inc of GST and free delivery.

Still seems a rip off for RTX 2070 Max-Q, but if anyone really wants the 7i this seems like a deal worthy of posting.

Not really, they want 5 grand for 1080p

      • +1

Yep. For that price I'd like a 4k 90 Hz OLED display please

Damn, for this RRP it better drive me to work as well.

For that price you'd expect no compromises, yet there have been comparable laptops for ~$2k, minus 16Gb of RAM and half the storage, which I wouldn't value at more than $300.

Save almost half the price and get the Dell

  • 1 year warranty for a 4 grand laptop is a bit iffy.

  • buy the dell - this price is a joke.

This deal seems horrid compared to the Dell offer..

    • True, this has an 8 core vs 6 core in the Dell though. Not gonna make a lick of difference for gaming though.

  • At this price better get 9th gen i9 with 2080 max-q for $3759, remember to use the DELL coupon:

  • Yeah I saw this posted by Hex the other night. Originally you could get the base model and play with the specs which ended up at 3.8K before applying the 1k coupon (so 2.8k). Interestingly the coupon wouldn't work and when they fixed it you could no longer get the base spec and only this 4.8k model was available on the Australian site. They must've worked out they were going to take a big hit so upped the specs so they could still make money on it.
