    Fully sick description brah.

    But seriously, fix it

  • $200 turbo

Yeah. Saying that if you blew you oem its better than getting a wrecker unit. Maybe.

Chinachargers aren't what they were a decade ago, most tend to be fairly reliable if kept within their limits.

      • Yep, built many cars with them.

wait what a turbocharger kit for only $180?! I thought they were upwards of 10k minimum…..

    • +1

10k for a ferrari or lambo.
But for a Nissan yeh cuzz

    • $10k would be a pair of turbos for a porsche 911.

    • 1) This isn't a kit, it's a replacement turbo
      2) For $10k you'd be wanting to get a gold plated turbo. Under $1k is possible if you're happy to DIY some of the plumbing, but generally ~$2.5K is the norm these days for a kit.

      • This should be a drop in replace. You can bolt to exhaust headers and dump pipe. Reuse bolts gaskets even.

You can diy if you have a clue.

RB30, T3, straight dose pipe about 15cm no filter on the end just mesh 👌

  • Why are these so cheap?

Replacement turbo for my car (td04l) is over a grand from carmodsaustralia and similar from other websites. Surely something is up here?

    • Admittedly I havent seen them that cheap but china shit t3 t25 whatever turbos have been $300-$500 for years… sure they are shitty journal, sleeve, rifle bearing shit but you're not buying a made in mexico Garrett ball bearing whatever snail, like with a 2yr warranty for $2k etc.

      • I have a few cars in "the crew" i build with running maxpeedingrod turbos.

Latest is a 323 BJ, on 12psi, stock internals, making 180 at the wheels.

For the naysayers; most of these are still thrust bearing turbos; so accuracy isnt required in the bearing cartridge, since it fills the area with oil pressure to float.

And its become so easy to balance a wheel, that its not surprising you can churn them out and balance them roughly, for cheap.

Expensive local ones, like HoneywellGarrett are built well beyond their spec, with ultra long service life (often more than 1 car life) in mind, and a capability to run at (almost) any pressure youd likely want.

Check the cheapie has balance marks.

        Keep it below 2 bar.

Be sure not to run too much oil pressure into it.

        They go pretty ok.

  • Got any motec exhaust systems or mashimitio ZX tyres??? How about a high mount turbo for gallo 24?

    • DDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM

    • Hahah fast n furious

    • I didn't know pizza places made motors

  • Check out Zero to 60 on youtube. 600+ horsepowers on a China turbo!

    • Yeah how long is that gonna last few months at best, I wouldn't bother with cheap especially if paying a mechanic to install.

      • Yeah, really need to keep the cast wheels below 2bar (28psi) if you want them to last.

Being thrust bearing, the cartridge shouldnt be an issue.
