Logitech C270 Webcam $69 @ Officeworks

200

No it is not the cheapest, but they are in stock and not on back order. I had an order placed with Winc from the 31 March for $58 , but they have changed their dispatch every 2 days for the last 4 months.
So for those needing one hopefully it helps
Update: There is stock around Brisbane for pick up and delivery - unsure of other areas

Wonder if I can order this and receive a Logitech G903 mouse…

    • pls tell me more

Lots of people that ordered this either got their order cancelled and refunded (after like two weeks) or received a Logitech webcam instead of a Logitech mouse. I believe the webcam was the same one from this deal too lmao

I managed to PBG this with Winc's price on Officeworks and clicked and collected yesterday. Pretty good budget cam. It doesn't tilt east-west, just north-south tilt, which is a bit annoying.

    • +1

You mean, it tilts (vertical) but doesn't pivot (horizontal)……………………..

English may not be his first language. I'd have said it doesn't rotate left and right, but it does rotate up and down.

There is a Microsoft one cheaper, also HD. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/microsoft-…

Appears for me - Unavailable in store and sold out online

    • No point posting prices from Officeworks if cant order online and no stock anywhere (in Victoria anyway)

    • Can I use it with a Mac?

      • The logitech works with Mac. Don't think the the MS one does. I have this camera, and have used it on Mac and Windows.

  • Unavailable online and nO stock near me

The last comment in the description seems like bait to get more comments.

It has nothing to do with the product.

    • This is removed Sir Knight

Dunno what the big deal is tbh. People here are getting so uptight lately.

I had one crap out after two years blue streaks down the image, I have a Microsoft hd cam for three years with no issues so far

  • Can't seem to see any stock in Vic stores.
    Anyone had any luck?

  • +2

I believe this came into stock around Monday or Tuesday for Vic where we got slightly more stock then last time this got restocked but I believe it already mostly out of stock now. Edit just did a quick check but it looks like stores and delivery might be available for WA and QLD and maybe available for delivery for NSW because I believe they might share similar warehouses as the QLD area.

If you are looking for one I would suggest calling your local store because our stock on our website will show out of stock if it there is only 1 in stock to account for displays for tech/furniture items even though a display is not used because it automatically assigned to tech items. Will can also still have stock in stores and not have it reflected on website until day or two later because there is small delay to when we receive stock and when our website shows we have stock available usually it is a day but can be longer.

Not the cheapest is an understatement. The cheapest I've picked up this camera for is $15. Covid madness.

    • +1

yes, somewhat weird. This is the one retail $59.00 years ago and once sitting on shelf in Target shop at $15.00 for months but no one take it

      • Target is exactly where I got mine for $15. I wish i'd bought a couple more spare. I've given my spares to the kids as they've gotten a bit older and now have a use for a webcam.

    • You've got to install apps on your mobile and your PC. Many people work from home use company PC/Laptops which usually don't have local administration access so this won't work out for them.

      • Still worth knowing about the option in case you're desperate. You can also use an old phone. Definitely not something I'd want to run with long term.

Lenovo has their 500 FHD webcam, on the student store for 66$ delivered, maybe a better option then this deal if you can get it.

      No mic, no sale.

  • I have an old Logitech round thing, 720P with a manual focus, glad I didn't get rid of the thing. We have ordered a lot of these units for staff at our work as they are a reliable unit and the mic works well… Compared to some dodgy 1080p cheap units I have seen about the place. Good unit for the Desktop but don't bother with medium size rooms as the mic will struggle and 720P is not great over 5 feet.

use your phone - works better, better quality, but does get hot/battery life impacted.

    • Failing that, use an old phone where you don't care about the battery and receive similar quality to a standard webcam!

  • Appears to be sold out.

  • amazing…. Can't believe I bought this on 2012 for $30……
