8 Months Free Premium (For New Accounts, Requires Pre-Exist. Wunderlist Account) @ Todoist

280
TODOIST2020

Pretty much the same as my last Todoist deal, new coupon :)

Steps:

  • Create an account if you don't already have one. Use a referral link for 2 months free premium :D
  • Head over to the code redeem page and redeem the code TODOIST2020. This will add 6 months premium, but only works if you are not already premium (ie if new account).
  • Head over to Wunderlist and create an account (or skip this if you have one). The head over to the Todoist Wunderlist Import Tool and import (no need to create any tasks). This will add 2 months premium (but doesn't seem to stack with the ref bonus)

You should end up with an extra 8 months premium for free!

    2 + 6 + 2 = ?

    • I don't think it stacks with the ref bonus, so you get 6m + (2m or 2m)

You can't make Wunderlist accounts anymore.

You can use this even if you have premium, I think it gave me 3 months

    • As in, the TODOIST2020 code?

      • -3

No that other code that was posted by the OP…

        What do you think?

  • If you've been working fine with TickTick free, is it worth exploring Todoist?

    • +1

I moved to TickTick free after years of using Todoist. The import process is easy, and it hasn't missed a beat for me. Personally I don't see any point, but it's always worth a try.. to see if it suits your workflow better.

      • Use cases for ticktick?
Integration with others or software or app that works well together with tivktick?

At the moment, i use google calendar to put reminders etc… Using onenote for notes taking or record keeping saved on onedrive.
I have notion account but haven't tried using.

Any better suggestion of free apps/software?
No plan to pay for subscription.

        • I tried to use OneNote, but found it very clunky and the search unreliable. I've gone back to Evernote. Using the old VPN trick to get indian pricing. Worked out to about $17 per year.

          • @odax: Yeah OneNote sync is atrocious. I want to like it otherwise, but just can't.

        • Just force sync it if it doenst on multiple devices. Easy to see the symbol when it isnt sync.

Any alternative to OneNote that is FREE?

I got Notion but I haven't tried it.

        • Microsoft's To Do. See my comment below

      • Interesting that you went from Todoist to TickTick. Based on that, it seems TickTick is fine if it's working for you. Thanks for the reply.

      • I check ticktick limitations on free.

Limited task to 99 on free.

Is that enough if you make task this month and task on succeeding months, it easily accumulates and reach 99 in no time?

Or once task is done, it gets delete or you delete it to avpid reaching the 99 limit?

        • +1

Free is 99 per list and you can have up to 9 lists.

Deleted and completed tasks don't count.. or I'd have gone way over the limit.

    Awesome thank you

  • Thanks, only extended to Jan 1 though. But thanks still.

I had an old Wunderlist account, imported but didn't seem to make any difference. The email I got from ToDoist after importing suggested they were upgrading me from normal to premium for 2 months. But I guess I was already Premium thanks to the code you'd shared.

  • I migrated from Wunderlist to Microsoft's To Do (forced really, due to the takeover). It's been good so far, biggest advantage are the seamless desktop and mobile platforms. And free (though I'm sure MS is doing something with my data).

Any user experience for Todoist compared to To Do?

    • cannot link to google calnedar?
