Rebel and Harvey Norman also have sales.

I started to panic as Rebel had the Fenix 6 base model on sale for $599 ending tomorrow. I planned to go in this morning to purchase but saw the price had been changed to $749 online. I hadn't screenshot the price and end sale date on the Rebel website. More panic. All I had to go by was to show the Rebel salesperson the details on this ozbargain deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/550924. Salesperson said they would put watch through at $599. However, even though box sticker showed $999, it scanned up as $599. Happy days. Considered the Pro version but I don't really need maps, wifi and music so base model will do.

    • Nice they are a great little (pun intended) watch

Does it come with ransomware decryptor?

Haha this is totally a red herring to distract everyone from the fact that Garmin got hugely affected by the WastedLocker Ransomware virus.

Lots of pages and services were completely shutdown since late July.

People were having issues with synchronisation and web pages crashing.

Then the idiots actually went and paid $10 million to the hackers.

    • How do we know your post is not a red herring to distract from this awesome deal? :)

But yeah, I'd completely missed the news of their ransomware-related outage and the alleged ransom payment. It's bad that systems weren't secure enough to resist the attack in the first place, but if they've then opted to pay an organised cybercrime group just to get their systems back up and running, that's next-level complicity. Hope they're forced to divulge more about what occurred.

  • Instinct is down at lowest ever $295

All of these deals will be related to the newer solar models being released
