  • Do you have a link to the rest of that catalogue? It's not available online anywhere I can see

    What a load of garbage

  • Anybody have actual long term experience with these no brand percussion massage guns compared to the Theragun - industry leading standard? Would be very keen to know…!

These comments explain the demographics of Ozbargain in a nutshell.

I got this last year and use it at least once every few days. For context, I powerlift 4 times a week and play football on Sats. The unit is solidly built and more than adequately powered. There's a number of attachments to choose from with plenty of vids online as to what they can be used for. Before getting the unit I used to go sports massage once every fortnight but now don't need to at all. I've tried a thergaun and see no reason to pay 500% more for that. Haven't tried the noname ones off eBay.

When I got it last year they only had like 5 units in my store so I suggest getting in early.

    • Hey thanks for that, good to hear some actual experience. Keen to avoid the massage costs too.

How do you use it exactly? The head looks really small to work over big muscles eg quads - do you just place it in a really knotted spot and go to town for a few minutes? Or move it around?

      • +1

You place it on the spot you want to target and leave it there for 30-60s. It's like a sports massage where they use their elbow instead of palm or fist which spreads the force more.

The various attachments and 3 power settings give you the flexibility to adjust the intensity and "spread" of the force depending on what muscle you are working on.

    • I can concur, this is a great product.
I use mine a couple times a week and it definitely helps with tight muscles

HAHAHAHAHA. ;) For him or for her?

  • How many ugga duggas does this deliver?

Drove to three different Aldis in Melbourne and all had queues of 30+ people. Bloody insane.

    Just ordered one off eBay.

    • Which one did you get off eBay?

Thanks mate, got one. Kinda glad that for all my troubles in driving around I got one for cheaper anyway. Now all it needs to do is arrive and work!

  • Hi all,

I managed to snag one of these this morning; just an FYI there are some crazy lines.

Will give it a go once its charged and report back.

Here are the specs if anyone is interested: https://imgur.com/a/zOVI5lL

    • How did you go. Any review please. Thanks

      • +1

It works really well. The battery lasts ages.

Ive been using it after gym everyday and it helps speed up recovery.

I read that the stroke length is important so i measured it. Its about 12mm compared to theraguns 16mm (i think). Works fine for me.

Theres plenty of alternatives on ebay as listed in previous comments.

  • Managed to grab one. Super long lines this morning, the queue wrapped around my local shopping centre but kudos to everyone for being socially distanced and well behaved (no jumping queue or pushing).

  • Same as above, went to three stores in my local area (Casey Central, Hampton Park and Fountain Gate) and all had none when I got there. I wish Aldi ordered more.

Also screw the people who walked out with two like seriously how much massage does your family need ffs…

What are some good alternatives off Ebay and Amazon lol?

  • All Canberra sold out

  • Got early and saw a line up. Managed to get one and tried. Followed some instruction i n youtube and it does massages well. Pretty solid motor.

  • Got to the store at 9am, waited in line for 15 minutes and it was sold out.

  • Anybody who got one - how’s the charging performance?

Have tried a couple of power points, no juice yet. Is there a light while charging for anybody else?

    • Light at the back should shine red while charging and green when its fully charged.

Cheers mate - turns out the little padded base that seemed to be firmly fixed to the base unit does actually come out

        1D10T error strikes again.

Beast of a unit though, just murdered my shoulders with it and they feel much better now.

        Cats aren’t a fan

  • If anyone changes their mind and wants to sell theirs - please DM me! Our Aldi was sold out when i got there 5 mins after opening (rookie mistake in hindsight)
