  Don't do it. They fail on you regularly even after following all their maintenance/care instructions. They replace the unit, it fails again and by that time it's out of warranty. Buyer beware

    What issue did you have? Mine runs like a dream and is unstoppable, i've had both the Roborock S5 and Deebot 920 and i like the Deebot way more and it's build quality is better.

    Also it's good to know Deebot replaced it, Roborck were a nightmare to deal with.

  I recently purchased this model. It's far from perfect (doesn't always find its way back to dock, gets stuck cleaning the same spot over and over for no reason, app needs a lot of work etc.) but the amount of stuff it picks up when cleaning continues to astound me! Does a great job overall and would give it a solid 7.5/10.

    I've never had that happen, and im up to 5,400m2 with 245 cleans and 68 hours of cleaning. I've got the rooms divided up, schedules set for different rooms and Alexa added for voice control. Have you tried setting the dock up in a different location? Also anything unusual about that spot it keeps cleaning?

    I have the same issue with mine as well, it does a great job in cleaning and mopping, but getting it to clean a space or room can be a chore. Cannot use it as set and forget, still need to use the app in custom setting to navigate and need to remap the house over and over.
    The 2.4G connection to the app is also patchy, my other 2.4G devices are spot on when connected
    I would rate it a 5/10

  I have the Deebot 950 bought from JBHIFI. It works like a charm. This is great machine and i use it almost daily as i have a lil one.
  Love the build quality and long running time. So far did not need to contact support.
  Maps aren't useful though because with kids you keep moving stuff here and there and the map does not always remember the set up and it forgets and starts a new clean.
  But this is worth the money specially performance wise.

    Buttt this is a 920. No issue with roborock loosing it's self because things have been moved. That's a werid issue. No matter what's been moved in our place, chairs tables etc it's just goes around them. Wall and door don't move so the lidar map is always good.

  I bought one of these to replace an older Xiaomi that couldn't mop.

  Not gonna lie, it's pretty (profanity) stupid. It gets lost all the time, slams into walls with much less grace than the Xiaomi did and often can't find it's way back to the dock.

  Maybe the later models are better, but I wouldn't recommend this one.

    My experience is exactly the same. It re-sets the map every time it starts cleaning despite being at the same location since day 1 so I couldn't set the virtual boundaries. In rooms with furniture in the middle of the room, it keeps cleaning that room until it runs out of battery. Most annoyingly, it got stuck climbing up carpet or mats that are 0.5cm thick, when the Xiaomi worked fine.

    Wish I could return this one.

      You need to enable advanced mode for map saving. I have a bunch of thick mats and never once had an issue, one of them the corners fold up a bit so the 2 side brushes go under the mat but it still doesnt stop it.

      I also have rooms with furniture in the middle like an island bench in the kitchen and again never a problem my Deebot works better then the Roborock S50 gen 2 i got rid of. It's a beast nothing stops it, quality of the cleaning is better too.
