SilverStone 650W Strider Gold S Fully Modular Power Supply (V1.1) $139 + Delivery or Pickup @ Scorptec

280

This "V1.1" only recently popped up, I was going to buy the V1 a few months ago but found a ridiculous deal on an EVGA unit. Probably not below usual price but I thought it'd be good to put it out there anyway as it's a good unit for a midrange build. Mwave also have it for $139 in case delivery from them is cheaper. The V1 was well rated, not the best you could get but it was a great value, I expect this to be even better.

EDIT: You can also get the V1 from Umart, which as pronoun said seems to only be missing an EPS 8-pin connector, for $129 + delivery at Umart.

From what I can tell, the only difference between the v1 and the v1.1 is the addition of 1 extra 8/4pin EPS/ATX connector - link

That's quite small difference. If unnecessary Umart also have the V1 for $129 + Delivery which is lower than the standard price by $10.

Its an OK (above avergae) PSU rated by highly proclaimed JonnyGuru - note this review is like 8 years old but for v1.1

Decent pricing though considering everything is still overrpiced due to COVID-19

    • You can see he paid $139.99 USD for it, I think with the more aggressive pricing it's more of an A minus.

    • That's an unrelated unit from a different OEM. The GS uses an older platform with slightly worse build quality (which is still fine for the price).

      ST65F-GS (both v1 and v1.1) = High Power Golden
      ST65F-G = Sirtec Astro GD.

I went through both Umart and Scorptec and they have contactless collection?

      • oop i misread it XD my bad

  • I have the 750w version of this PSU and no complaints about it. Very solid for the $139 i paid for it around 1 year ago. Pretty good deal considering i helped a mate do a build this week and was struggling to find any PSU at a decent price.

Waiting for Corsair RM750x price to drop.

    • Same here.
Last part I need for my first build.

      • Yup, all sorted but this psu for my build.

    • same. haven't seen any wiggling from its price yet
