ASUS TUF 5700XT & AMD Ryzen 3600 Gaming PC $1699 + Shipping @ Titan Tech

890

Hey OzBargainers

We received a few requests for a 5700XT build! We essentially threw together the exact same build as the 2070 super with the same specs but for $180 less with almost the exact same performance. The 5700XT has been known to have some heating issues but with a big open case like this you will be fine. Although a water cooled CPU can never hurt especially for just $100.

-CPU: AMD Ryzen 3600 with 6 cores & 12 threads at 3.6ghz base speed.
-Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B450 Pro Wi-Fi. Full ATX with RGB accents, Integrated Wi-Fi & Bluetooth plus extra expansion slots.
-RAM: Kingston 16gb 3200mhz RGB (2x8gb)
-SSD: Kingston A2000 500GB NVMe
-GPU: Asus Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB TUF Gaming X3 EVO OC
-PSU: Thermaltake 600w Gold Rated 80+ Power Supply
-Tower: Deepcool Matrexx 50 Tempered Glass Window and 3x Pre installed RGB fans.

  • Hey there! Just wondering how well if at all this build could handle 1440p? Only playing non demanding games such as league or WoW but may branch out to other games.

    • For league and wow at 1440p you will have more then enough power.

Higher quality games generally you will get at least 100fps at ultra graphics but of course this is dependent on the game.

Just sharing my experience with Titan Tech : Ordered on 30 June ( https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/547905) received on 15 July. No power cord, no docs. Switched on fan lights not working, opened the case eventually rectified this and discover a WD Green 120gb sata ssd, not the 500gb WD blue as advertised. contacted TT was assured a mistake and a new drive would be posted immedialtly. July 24, nothing received and I have also found right channel of audio on M/board not workiing. Again contact TT advised to check M/board setting ect and exact reply was " The SSD will arrive next week latest." July 31 contact TT , reply sound card and ssd will be there next week. 7 August contact TT , said would get back shortly with a tracking number—-nothing since. I am not impressed with the after sales service and I am considering whether to return the defective part or the whole unit back for a refund. Not impressed

Hi Oldfogey, We promised 2 week delivery and unfortunate 2 days after we said that our supplier in VIC was placed in stage 4 lock-down which slowed down all our deliveries by over a week. This is totally beyond our control but still disappointing not to be able to live up to our word.

To compensate I started buying parts at retail level and retail price to delivery orders as close to promised due date as possible.

You emailed me and threatened to sue me after less then a week because I had not provided you with a tracking number. I thought this was quite unfair considering we had remained in contact the entire time and with all the variables going on at the moment.

You kept trying to contact me via an old personal email which I mentioned multiple times I never used and can you please contact me via my new email or my mobile number 0402 510 862 which led to some late responses.

I mentioned on the phone I would wait to hear back about the sound issues if a simple driver update fixed the problems and I would personally pay for a sound card to be send out along with the SSD. I never heard back about the sound card which resulted in a delayed sending of SSD on our part.

At this point after countless emails and threats I am still unsure how to proceed regarding sound-card however still willing to send one, if needed.

While I do apologize for the part we played in this messy situation, I really do no see what I could have done better in this situation.

      • I can't wait for my system to arrive from you guys. I'd much rather give you the benefit of the doubt and wait for my own system to come and judge based off that.

Issues arise, and I'd say you handled it to the best of your power. I'd definitely be miffed off too if I was in the situation, but outside of what's possible, I wouldn't expect the impossible.

        Excited for my system!

I dont intend to debate the issues here but I have all the emails to debunk most of your comments, including your last email which states " I will get back to you shortly with a tracking number" which to me indicates the item would have been posted, which obviously has not. I will contact you shortly

Shutuppp, you literally posted the issue on a public forum so you sound like a gaslighter now with borderline overentiled (profanity) syndrome

  • Any chance of itx builds coming up? Eg like aftershock impulse or maybe slightly larger? Cooler master nr200

    • We are working on an ITX build but cannot promise it will be anytime soon sorry.

  • How long is the average shipping time to Vic with the Covid problems Melbourne is having?

    • At this stage it is highly likely to be over 2 weeks im afraid.

    • Hey mate,
Mine got shipped yesterday via TNT and it is due to arrive today, is already on the delivery van. Insane that Syd to Melb only took 24 hours for delivery, but maybe I got insanely lucky.

      • Did you end up getting it? How was the build quality and cable management? Did you get everything as advertised?

        • +1

          Hey mate,
I ended up getting it at 4pm on the same day, so the shipping company were insanely good, legitimately delivered within 24 hours of me getting the tracking info. Very impressed with TNT especially in current times.

As for the PC, it was good, when it arrived one of the glass panel screws was out of the screw hole, however that was the only thing, and even that is super minor. The build quality is great, cable management was clean on the viewable side which is what mattered most to me.

The only issue was with the RAM profile, it needed to be set manually. I believe I saw some other person post a similar complaint/comment about this on this, or another Titan Tech post.

Overall I am very satisfied with this service, and despite them taking a while to build it, I understand that they had a tonne of orders come in and were doing their best and so I was patient. I am happy to support the boys working on this, nice to see young entrepreneurs.

Value for money was also really good in my opinion, I had some stuff picked out on PC Part Picker and this ended up costing the same, but having better parts and including the build cost.

          Would recommend.

  • Any chance of a 3700X, 5700XT system in the future? If you could match Techfast's or CGB's pricing that would be great also
    Thanks

  • Looks like titantech and cgb are both mates. Good luck with your orders

    • If by "mates" you mean friends on Facebook, then I think that is a gross invasion of my privacy.

I used to buy parts off CGB through a Facebook group before we had a website and found a larger supplier so if you think that will some how effect your orders then I don't know what to say.

Just wanted to say thanks for a wicked deal. PC is awesome, apart from a few hiccups upon arrival which I don't need to get into, the specs at the price and the build quality is awesome.

Thanks Titan Tech. Keep up the good work, I hope you continue making great value PC's with the 30x series going forward, I'll certainly buy from you again.
