  • I got a stylus from ebay that looked VERY similar to that. And it didn't work on my capacitive touch screen phone.

    Dunno man :S

    • i got one from OW a while back and that didn't work either, at least i could return that for a refund…

      • Don't they have to be listed as a touch screen one for them to work?

Like, you need one that can transfer the magnetic field or something from your fingers down the pen?

I dunno, I had a small one and it worked on my HTC Desire HD and my accountant also had a long one which worked on his iPad.

But now both of you are making me worry about the ones I just ordered ><"

I think you're missing the point slightly (only slighty- you seem to be on the right track). First comment says "capacitive" touch screen, ie detects touches through change in capacitance (the human body is highly conductive, a plastic pen is not). You could go get a pen that says "for touch screens". The other main type of touch screen (usually on cheaper devices) uses physical pressure to register touches - a stylus designed for these is still a "touch screen" stylus but won't work on capacitive screens.

So in short - if you can 'touch' your screen with anything that applies pressure (blunt end of a pencil, cotton bud etc) and it works, you want pretty much any plastic stylus. If a cotton bud can't trigger the screen (eg an iPad) it's probably capacitive and you'll need a conductive stylus accordingly.

        • the one i got, was supposed to be for an iphone, but for it to work, you had to press so hard that it was cumbersome to use, and i was worried about breaking the phone, so i returned it and got a refund…

Wow, didn't realise Bang Bros had started a chinese drop shipping company…

    • free 3 day trial membership with any purchase! (recurs @ $39.99/month)

Seriously tho.. as much as I dislike some things about DealExtreme, at least the customer reviews are for the most part legit. Everything here (similar to other dropshippers) has 5 stars.

  • They have the batteries required for the LED Laser/Flashlight they had at Meritline the other day if anyone was interested. $1.76 USD for 10 - http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-10-Maxell-Lr1130-Ag10-189-… (instead of buying the other 2 stylus' for 99¢ minimum spend)

Got one so I can use this pick up line:

Hey baby, wanna see my stylus. It's bang good!"

  • Hubby sent me to OW last week for one of these for his Ipad. Dammit, $20 later, I should have procrastinated.

  • Bought 3 for $1, not sure how they are profiting from this with free shipping.

    • They aren't trying to profit from it - it's extremely cheap promotional / marketing.

  • My three styluses arrived. Work perfectly fine :-) using them now to type this message :-D
