Brydge Pro Bluetooth Keyboard (Silver) for iPad Pro 11 $149.99 (Was $229.99) + Delivery @ Brydge AU

160

Was browsing some magic keyboard alternatives for the new baby, saw the Brydge Pro in silver on sale for the Pro 11".

Initially looked for the Logitech Folio for the 2020 Pro 11", but seems like they will be out in another few weeks, priced at $189.

If anyone has this please share your experiences :D

Seems like the Brydge Pro is compatible for both 2018 and 2020 models, the only difference when you choose the model year, is for the magnetic back cover in the box with different camera cutouts.

Delivery to Brissy was $18 via Post ground.

Cheers!

Pro+ model with trackpad $349.99: https://www.brydge.com.au/products/brydge-pro-plus-for-ipad-…

If price isn't an issue, the compatibility of the Magic Keyboard will be much better, as it also connects using the contact pins on the back rather than Bluetooth, among other conveniences.

  • Keep in mind, this does not have the trackpad like the newer brydge model or the magic keyboard

    • Alternative as in the price 🤐. Will update.

  • +2

This is not a magic keyboard folio alternative as it doesn’t have a trackpad.

    • True, since I didn't need the track pad I don't really mind it. Just need a solid backlit portable keyboard. Will update post with the Pro+ model.

    • Not worthy of a standalone post because there’s not enough stock. Got some of the Pro models with the trackpad available at a discounted rate $279 (RRP $349) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRYDGE-PRO-w-trackpad-for-iPad-P…

  • I have an old brydge keyboard for my iPad 5th gen. Absolutely love it. Quality is the same as the iPad itself and typing experience is almost the same as a Mac. The only con I can think of is the hinge design. Surely there’s a better way to hold it together

    • Yeah, I'm not a fan of the hinge design, and I can't swipe from bottom to bring up the dock (though I have learnt the iOS keyboard shortcut).
Plus, the thing's a bit heavy. But I don't mind it too much as it's easy to remove with practice.

  • Can definitely vouch for Brydge keyboards - have one for my 10.5 iPad Pro and it's fantastic
