Currently the cheapest for both the game and its DLC packs - from an official source too.

The Expansion Pass contains the two game-expanding DLC packs of Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain.

  • Forza Horizon 3 standard version (Full Game) - $13.18
  • Forza Horizon 3 expanasion pass (DLC) - $15.73

The game is also playable on the PC, with a ~51.41 GB install size.

      For anyone unaware of what "delisted" means - the game will no longer be available to purchase from digital stores (usually due to music licencing agreements). Any user who purchases the game before this happens will be unaffected and will be able to install/play the game without limitation.

      Yep! Blizzard mountain was fun, and hot wheels was something different. For the cost, you'll get your moneys worth

      Oh and there were some good cars in the Hot Wheels expansion

      I'd rate the Hot Wheels expansion, it's kinda simple racing but the audio and visuals of it make it great fun!

          If you want the best of both worlds, buy both the Ultimate Edition of the game and the Expansion Pass.

    Buy this now if you want it. The game is disappearing at the end of next month as their car and/or music licensing expires. Once you have it, you'll still be able to grab it at any time, but new purchases won't be possible.

        Yeah, now I think about it, FH4's season change is fun at first, but after a while, I do find I tend to skip the week that's winter season. You kinda have to play at least 3+ weeks to experience all 4 seasons.

      I personally think 3 is the best in the series. Still play it regularly (there's still plenty of people playing multiplayer), whereas I rarely play FH4 at all.

        Yeah this is only digital and expansion if you buy the two. Ultimate gives all dlcs (for some reason it didnt give me one car pack, but it was one i didnt care about so i don’t care), so it gives all car packs, vip, and expansion i believe

            @freakingtaco: The Ultimate Edition only contains cars, whereas the Expansion Pass only contains the two expansions.

            If you want the best of both worlds, buy both the Ultimate Edition and the Expansion Pass (if you don't own the main game already).

    Bought the expansion pass, but can't install it ("can't find applicable devices") even though my PC is attached to my MS account. Followed several guides, nothing seems to work. Maybe I can get a refund…

      OK never mind… I had to go to the individual DLCs ("Hot Wheels" and "Blizzard Mountain") in the MS Store and install them separately. YAY!

    I appear to have purchased a combo of the base game + hot wheels expansion back in 2018….. to complete things I really should get Blizzard Mountain but that does not appear to be on sale by itself and still costs $29.95 so I guess I have to buy the DLC pack for $15.73 which includes Hot Wheels a second time…. I assume this automatically just locks to your account and I don't get a Hot Wheels code I can pass on to someone else?

      Correct. You don’t get a second copy of the DLC to gift, just like most other online stores.

          Unfortunately Game Pass only gives you the base games and they upsell you the DLC.

          Lego is paid, frequently on offer though so wait for a discount. Was definitely worth it. Fortune Island expansion not so much.

          that description is for Xbox. The game was designed for Xbox first. Also to install the expansion pass on PC, need to download via in-game menu. Cannot download from UWP.

          Xbox Gold only applies to multiplayer on the Xbox console. You can play the expansion pass offline or just single player on Xbox without gold and you can play online on PC without gold.

        Glad you managed to get it, I was on the fence about 3 car packs as they didn't have any sale pricing they'd have cost me $30 to complete my FH3 but I'm guessing I wouldn't use most of those cars anyway except for the Supra so I didn't do it.

        Can't find them anywhere as codes now, RIP.
