  • Dual sim?

    • +1

      5g is single sim

    • Oppo 10x is dual sim, no 5G

  • Damn, just posting this. Any black?

  • +6

Got this for $499, fantastic phone. Been loving it.

  • This phone or the Samsung Galaxy A70. Can anyone suggest what I should do. Only want for a decent camera and screen

    • +4

If you can afford extra $100 - Reno 10x 5G, better camera and flagship chipset (Qualcomm Snapdragon 855) ;)

      • Thanks for the response. Just worried about the Camera. I have a reno Z and the camera isn't good. I watched some reviews and reno 5G seems alot better. Thanks for your reply

Hey Rep, any deal on oppo 10x dual sim please?

    • Hi Mkm

      Sorry, no more stock

      • No worries. Thanks for the prompt response.

Note 10+ for $1321 is a big joke when the Note 20 Ultra is $1579 on the Education Store.

I agree that only a fraction of people have access to the education store, but sifting through ozbargain, there are other means of obtaining the newer phone for just a few extra hundred dollars.

      Hi thriftysach

      Thanks for your feedback!
you got points, I have thought about this before I post it, but after I did some more research think may still good price for note 10 plus 5G 512GB with 12GB vs Note 20 Ultra only 256/8GB, also few hundreds cheaper.

      • -3

Most stores were clearing this out in June for $1299 or less, so hardly justifiable now after the launch while being more expensive

          Hi In28909

I think you may refer to the 256GB were clear at $1299, I can't see any 512GB 5G version cleared under $1300, can you please share links ?

          • @AHUANG: Fair enough I'll revoke my neg, still don't see the value of this, if you take into account resale value, the note 20 ultra would actually be cheaper

            • +3

              @ln28909: Thanks and Point taken!

Everyone this is the 5G non 10x zoom (There is no 10x zoom 5g)

Are you saying the ebay listing is false or misleading?

      • +4

Not on purpose, OPPO is very confusing when it comes to this phone, even in the details it says Reno 10x zoom, but with no 5g (on the ad itself I mean)

        • 4.30 explains the 10x hybrid zoom and the non 10x hybrid zoom, the 3rd camera is the giveaway.. I also agree, Oppo has one of the worst line-ups of names. Very confusing to the consumer. As far as I can tell, Optus sold only the 10x Hybrid zoom (from all the other Optus resellers out there), so seems to be the hybrid version. The other hint is the non-10x Hybrid zoom has an AUX pro and the Hybrid doesn't. Googling the part number (CPH1921) and checking on amazon shows the 3 camera version, which is the hybrid zoom. Sorry if I confused you with my post, being an oppo post didn't help

sorry, I think you are right, not 100% sure will double check with OPPO tomorrow, in the meant time I have remove the 10x zoom from the title and will update the listing shortly.

      • Explained at around 4.30s. Photos on ebay show the 3 camera model, which is 10x zoom model. There models are very confusing. The one with 2 camera's is not 10x zoom.

it has 10x telephoto which is just digital zoom marketing

The 10x zoom (model CPH1919 ) has 5x optical and 10x hybrid zoom.

It's extremely confusing, and I still could be wrong, I'd wait for confirmation from the rep once they talk to Oppo

    • +2

This has an identical camera setup to the 10x (I own one). It even identifies itself as an Oppo 10x Zoom on all google services.

      • Refer to pharmacies post, if it has two cameras, it's not the 10x hybrid zoom/5x optical.

        • +1

It has three (see photos and spec sheet here.)

          • @donnot: SKU (OPPORENO10X5GGRNOPT) also backs up it is the 10x hybrid with 3 cameras and not AUX

          • +1

@donnot: yeah you're right i missed it had three cameras.

Still wish they'd name things properly. There's also a reno2 and reno z

            reeeeeee

    • +10

For clarification, Reno 10x zoom is the 4G only variant with dual sim. Reno 5G is the 5G variant with single sim. Otherwise, they have the same specs and camera setup.

Both feature the same 10X hybrid zoom function using the same lense and sensor setup. You wouldn't need a telephoto lense if it's just all digital zoom. Digital zoom is the equivalent of cropping an image, blowing it up and then using algorithms to add in extra detail.

Oppo really needs to get on top of their marketing and naming schemes. Their producing some top notch stuff, but branding leaves a lot to be desired.

  • Any dual sim model pls I need one

    • Yes, dual sim model wanted

  • +2

Come-on mobiciti, do the oppo 10x zoom, we need the dual sim version!

  • no ir no buy hehe

  • Oppo Find X2 Pro for $1147 from Officeworks the other day still the best

    • That was a price error.

      • Did they honour it?

        • +1

I believe so. Mine is one the way for delivery.

  • Does Optus unlocked mean only Optus sim can work in this device?

    • +1

It means it has a boot logo and some crapware pre installed but unlocked to any sim

    • I have a reno 5g "optus unlocked" and am using a boost sim with no problems. Also no optus boot logo.

  • Is the Optus 5G Reno compatible with the Telstra 5G network?

    • Yes

    • is 5G is only available for post paid plans from Optus and Telstra?

  • I was considering this phone for the great specs at a decent price, but I like to play around with photos and video, and while this does have a number of lenses, none of them seem to be particularly sharp and it apparently doesn't give you the option to shoot in RAW. Shooting in RAW is the best way to take advantage of smartphone imaging capability, especially using the Lightroom mobile app.

  • $377 for the R15 Pro (128GB/6GB) is good too. Love mine - camera is incredibly sharp and phone has been rock solid. I'll wait some time before upgrading.

  • And reason to go for this over the Pixel 4a for $11 less?

  • -1

When S20 note is $1499 why would someone buy Note 10+ for $1321

    • +1

      Note 10+ > note 20
      Note 20 ultra > note 10+
The successor to note 10+ is note 20 ultra.

Theres a massive difference. You're thinking of the note 20, which can be compared to note 10 not note 10+
I personally think note 10+ is best value for money.

      Note 20 ultra is 1850
Note 10+ 256gb can be found for 1200 online
      Huge difference.

  • Regarding Screen and camera, is this oppo phone or the Huawei mate 20 pro better?
