    Tell him he's dreaming

  • $30? Is it a price error? I think it would be a bargain if its $3

Unless you really need type C fast charging
otherwise just get a Micro USB cable + MicroUSB / Type C adaptor

    4M Micro USB cable: $5 https://www.binglee.com.au/cygnett-cy2031pcmic-4m-micro-usb-…
    Type C Adaptor: $1.25 https://www.ebay.com.au/i/142558947344

This isn't a charging cable mate.

This is primarily designed for Oculus Link which requires the USB 3.0 transfer speeds.

I have the 5 metre version of this cable and it works flawlessly for Oculus Link.

      • OK. If this is specific for Oculus Link that makes sense to have fast data transmission rate
As usually long usb cables are more for power supply purpose like Car dashcam or IP camera

Yeah, OP should really clarify this is for Oculus Link in the title.

Longer cables for Oculus Link really are a bit of a lottery and I found these to be reliable. They even have the right-angle connector so it's easier to route around the back of the headset.

These cables are great for their intended purpose.

I have this exact cable used for my oculus quest, works great! Fast data transmission is necessary to have a smooth oculus link experience which this cable does for a reasonable price.

Been considering getting a cable like this… I mostly play Quest wireless using ALVR but a 4 or 5m USB cable would be a good option too.

I've been using the 5m Fasgear cable for a while, and the difference between wireless and wired is very obvious for timing based games. I was struggling on certain stages in both Beat Saber and Creed playing wirelessly (tried both ALVR and Virtual Desktop), as soon as I played it with the cable I was able to pass those stages consistently. I still like the option of using the Quest wirelessly for most things, but where minimal lag is required, you can't go past the cable.

Haven't used this cable in particular, but the 5m cable has been great for the last couple of months. It doesn't charge the Quest fast enough though, could just be the USB port I'm using, a 1 hour session will see a drop in battery by about 15%.

Looks like there's a promotion on the 5m cable too, $31.99 after discount. Don't forget cashback too
