Why not just buy at Coles?

Not every Coles stocks these. My local one stopped selling this variety months ago.

Texture was horrible from memory when I last tried… The spaghetti had absorbed alot of the liquid from sauce and was a gooey mess :-/

    • I had this few days ago, it was more like a soup with few strings of spaghetti floating around :D

The sausages were not bad and there were surprisingly many in the can but still would not buy this again.

Looks like same price in Coles

  • Amazon recently added a higher minimum order requirements on most pantry items :(
For example on noodles, instant coffee packets, cereal.

I used to order a box of cheerios every fortnight maybe. Single box for $5. Now the minimum is 3 for one order (so $15). I dont blame them though.. shipping a package through australiapost with $2-$5 item doesnt sound too profitable.

    • It's a shame, I usually order $1 pantry items on Amazon every few days with Prime. Now I'm getting significantly reduced value from my subscription.

      • Funnily enough I was just about to buy the year subscription but now I just dont feel the need for prime. But from business and margins perspective i can see why amazon raised the minimum quantity from 1 to 4/5/6. Still sucks for us buyers though ://

  • The best tasting canned spag and bb these days is the Aldi one.. Corale. It is 65c a 420gm can from memory? & all Australian.

    • But do they come with snags? I guess you could buy a seperate jar of the little snags from Aldi though

  • on special in coles now

  • Nothing better then thus in a jaffel with cheese.

  • Just had my order of six cans arrive today. All six were dented in transit, and one can is swollen as well.

Amazon are refunding me, but geez, how is it they still have staff packing six cans loose into a box with a single one of those air-cushions (it was destroyed as soon as someone picked up the box, of course)?
