How well will this work against these? Asking for a friend.

    • Excellent joke and perfect execution. Thank you.

Not having a trigger lock seems like a pretty painful idea on an angle grinder.

  • How is 125mm? Ive got a dremel sawmax which is 70mm. Frankly it's crap and chews consumables

I'm looking for something that can be used well on wooden planks (need the blade at 90 degrees?) and won't burn discs on metal or the occasional paver

      Circular saw pal.

      • How do they go with the occasional paver? I'm guessing you need the mobility of the angle grinder to neaten up any intersecting cuts?

    • 125mm is fine for anything the average punter would want to do.

For "planks" (what kind?) you're gonna want a circular or recip saw.

If you're gonna be cutting pavers more than once in a blue moon then you should get a brick saw (probably buy second-hand or hire.)
