Some people have turbocharged cars, others turbo their laptops

would rather buy the toshiba a couple of days ago with 8gb ram, and better graphics http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/55788

different appeal/needs? This appeal to Toshiba Fans, better and latest released Core i7 CPU, USB 3.0 port, Windows 7 Professional.

Can we still buy the additional warranty for this?
    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/?rf=kw&kw=united+warranty

    • Yes you can. They can be used on this laptop to give yourself a longer warranty period:should you feel the need.

  • HI. Can you please put the Hp DV6-6146TX back on for the oz bargain community, all my 4 friends want that one. I will guarantee you will sell more of that.

    • Dear UZZA84,

We had the deal posted twice and for significant amount of time, therefore it will not feature anytime soon in the near future, stock availability also one of the reason. Sorry about that. If you looking for laptop with similar graphics, we should have some coming before christmas. This particular (toshiba) deal is more suited for fast performing and good, reliable laptop for business/work with some graphic performance.

  • So does "Micro SATA SSD for Dedicated SSD Slot: None" mean that there's a slot which we can stick an SSD into, or is it just stating that there's no slot…?

    • very good question, have to see if i can find more information from our vendor. At the moment, i would say do not factor this slot into consideration when looking at this deal, to be on the safe side.

  • Could you make $999 for Ozbargain Community for Asus G53JW Core i7 1.73GHz 15.6 inch Laptop G53JW-FHD-SZ056V (it is a 1st gen i7 cpu)? I think many members would be interested.

    • Good in spoting this model. $999 is impossible, but a reasonable good enough price offer might be considered(i have very limited stock)

      • So how much is the reasonable good enough price offer for Ozbargainers?

        • i think $1249 is reasonable and worth doing for the ozbargainers.

  • I found it comes with 8GB(4GB+4GB) memory in Toshiba's website instead of 6GB(4GB+2GB)? Are they same model or different version?

The model in the link you send has a Windows 7 home premium, and 8gb ram, otherwise the same. Good research there mate.

      • Windows Home Premium is better than Professional for home use. Would be a better deal having that and the extra 2 gb ram

        • +1

:). We should have other laptop deals next week with windows 7 home premium. This is a laptop more suitable for business users from one of the more reliable Brand: Toshiba. If you think on a business user position, this is a great deal (with the new i7 processing power + built quality of this model). Also, it is the latest model from Toshiba L750 series.

  • Among your next deals please include some systems with a better graphic card (e.g. Radeon HD6770 or better). Recommended system specs of upcoming games like Elder Scrolls V require better card than GeForce GT 52xM.
