      Definitely a price error

they're just being preemptive. and honestly 3000mhz and nebulous bin, $45 isn't that farfetched imo.

Expired/Price Error, $145 when you add to cart.

  • Coming up as $145 ea

    • Seems price has been updated.

  • +1

    $145 now

  • Bought 2, let's see what happens. Thanks OP

  • +13

As much as I'd like a set or two of this for $45 I'm not ordering.

The last thing any business needs right now is a bunch of fees for cancelled order refunds and the time out of their schedules to contact everyone. Doesn't feel right to me.

    • +2

      I respect that.

But I bought that 2060 Super for $480 a month or so back, where Umart actually ended up just honouring the deal, all credit to them.

So I think I'll keep trying super-bargains even if they seem like price errors.

  • Ordered 2 earlier. Just got an email that my purchase has been put on hold by their screening system….

    • How many sticks did you order?

      • 2 sets

        • Likewise, they cancelled on me though :(

  • +1

The price went back to $145 at like 7:35PM

  • Haha I bought it and didn't notice the price went up half way through checking out.
    Dammit :(

    • Ouch! Navigating from their site checkout to paypal sent it up to regular price for me. Luckily I spotted it.

      • I think that's where it went up for me but I had some ubiquiti gear in my cart and didn't even take notice of the $100 increase. I feel like an idiot haha.

    • Oh, rip… How unlucky :(

  • Damn always miss out !

  • To much of a hit doubt they will honour it such a good company to

  • I ended up ordering it for $45, whats the chances that it will actually go through

    • +2

      Slim

  • Are these ok for Ryzen?

    • yes.

  • Just scrapped in hehe great bargain

  • Damn, am I not worthy of my name?

    • +1

Buy at $145, think later :)

  • Nice free advertising by centrecom ;)

  • Genuine question about Ram. Is there much differnce between 3000 and 3200? What are the benefits?

    • +2

Depends on the CAS latency. This is most applicable to AMD systems which benefit from fast RAM; CL16 3200 will be faster than CL16 3000, but CL16 3200 will be slower than CL12 3000. There's a few things to take into account, I suggest watching a video or two on the subject.

    • +1

There will be no perceivable difference between ram that is identical in all other aspects

    • +1

In terms of real world…no… If you want to benchmark and see some numbers on how it compare against others then yes…

    • +1

If you really care about benchmark numbers:

      https://ram.userbenchmark.com/Compare/GSKILL-Trident-Z-DDR4-…

In reality, not much difference. The reality is that RAM speed is just something we use to trick our brain into thinking we get tangible performance gain. The reality is that getting a better GPU or CPU will provide much more performance gain.

  • +1

Looks like a good price for these

No… It definitely is a good price :)

  • +1

I ordered a set and haven't received anything about my order getting cancelled

    • You want me to send them an e-mail to speed up the cancellation process? Only kidding. Best to keep quiet.
Hope you get it. Fingers crossed.

  • +1

Too bad it's DDR4 and my PC is DDR3 :( I remember paying $22 for a stick of RAM back in 2012.

    • Mate then you are lucky, had many SIMMs on a build back then haha, 16 or 32MB cards and was trying to collect enough RAM for WinXP. L2 Cache was also on a card.

      • +4

        I said 2012, not 2002!!

        • Haha

        • Lol

  • +2

Ordered, but no way will this be honoured.

Now if only this had been posted by Amazon.. then we’d be in with a chance.

  • +4

Unfortunately there was a pricing error earlier on our website resulting in the Corsair RAM you purchased being way under cost. We apologize for this inconvenience, we are always careful with pricing and have a number of checks in place, however despite our best efforts in this case the incorrect price was posted.

We have cancelled this order completely and will be processing a FULL REFUND for the total of the order in the coming day.

Regardless of if your order was for just this ram or any other items, as the best and quickest course of action in this case we have cancelled all orders with the incorrect RAM in full, and you will receive a full refund, no goods on the order will ship. If you did wish to purchase any other items on the order please place another order for those items.

    • Ditto. Got to be in it to winnit

      • -2

        Could you elaborate?

    • +1

I emailed to cancel my order and had this ram in however the price changed half way through checkout for me. My order was not cancelled and instead was shipped on Friday afternoon. Not impressed at all as I was not willing to pay an extra $100 and didn't notice it went up through check out.

  • +2

    Order cancelled :((

  • +2

    cancelled, sad

  • Cancelled
