Came across this while looking for a new SSD. Lowest I have seen so could be a mistake.

They also have the WD Black 1tb for $178.08 only 4 of those remaining though.

I ended up buying the WD Black, fingers crossed it gets fulfilled. They only have 2 reviews @ 50% so take that into account if ordering.

  • They're probably scared the entitled mafia will ruin their name more so….. kudos to them - but considering the times we're in.

These drives are going for 150 odd these days, it was even 130 odd a while back on Amazon, before the dramatic SDD price drops lately. So while this is a price error, doubt they will be making a loss.

      • +1

        yeah it's not like they're losing $50 a pop

Order just shipped via Registered Post.

    • Same.

      • +2

Same! Took a punt and it was worth it, but now looking to make some future buys from them for the gesture

Maybe when new GPUs come out πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
        Or if I decide I really want a b550i

        • Haha that is my thinking aswell.
Not going out of my way to buy specificly from them but if they have the rtx 3090 when they come out I can definitely buy it from them instead.

That's the only thing I'm upgrading next on my PC, maybe a PSU if rumours of 850w minimum is needed.

        • looking to make some future buys from them for the gesture
          Yes Same here.

  • My order has been shipped :D

  • mine been dispatched with tracking number

  • Got the wrong one.

    500gigs one.

    I was 100% sure, I ordered 1tb one.

    Now it mentions 500gigs everywhere.

Did everyone got the right one?

    I got charged $94.
    Even 500gigs one is $89

Surprised you already received it, mine hasn't even shipped. You should make an A to Z guarantee claim.

      Hahahahah.

    • +1

I ordered the 1TB one and a 1TB one was shipped out today.
In your order history, it should've stated exactly what you ordered.
You can cancel the item before it's been shipped and Amazon.com.au will not charge you.

      • +1

It is not about what it states on the page, It is about what he got. He clearly says he ordered 1tb but he got the 500gb one. anyway, everybody will find out soon.

    • +2

Austin computers sell the 500gb version for $94
Amazon themselves sells it for $89

      • My order says 1TB let see if i will be getting 500gb lol

        • So does mine, I thing he ordered the 500gb version by mistake.

        • lol… my got just shipped.. hopefully they don't ship me 500gb

    • +1

Check your purchase history, does it say 500GB or 1TB? If it says 1TB, many more (everyone?) will receive the 500GB one, I guess that's the model they intended to sell for that price.

  • Got the 1tb WD SN550 shipped as well for $110.

  • I will post in here the picture once i received it …
    1TB or 500 gb lol

    • mine says shipped , or order says 1 TB …… be interesting what arrives.
if it’s 500GB is it worth keeping .

    • My order was supposed to be shipped by 3/9 and now it's estimated to 4th-8th and to contact Amazon if the item hasn't arrived by Wednesday the 9th.

  • Still waiting here too.
Tracking shows this and nothing since.
