  The PNY SSDs seem to compare pretty favourably to the WD Greens from a benchmark perspective. I've been on the fence about grabbing a WD Green to replace a HDD in an old laptop. Has anyone got first hand experience of the PNYs?

    Really not first hand experience.
    But they have been making RAM for ages and i've used it several times with no issue (i built and sold PCs for a couple years).
    As a brand, it's not like they are some no name just popping up recently. So i would assume the SSDs to be of similar quality.
