I tried this last time and seemingly broke the attachment twice. Otherwise seemed like a good unit.

    Bicycle and balls.

Keeping this in a car in case of a flat is worthless. Just a heads up.

    • Why you say that?

        Experience.

Tracksports, offroading and an inflatable dingie. I am constantly using portable air compressors. I could write reviews on these things but it is easier to summarise - inflating tyres, especially big volumes is a heavy duty task.

Using toys to do heavy duty task has a predictable outcome - overheated/burnt toys.

      How come?

If so the xiaomi air inflator is a similar price but you can hook it more easily on your bike and it's more compact but it takes hours to inflate a car tyre

I meant a flat car tyre. Not a flat ball or bicycle. My bad if that came off confusing.

  • does it do presta valves or just schraeder?

      Just Schrader I think

  • have one of these,works great…getting another

    • How does it go with car/trailer tyres?? I am not expecting it to be as fast as the service station compressors (just as long as it can 'top up' the tyres for my boat trailer or caravan - even if it takes a bit of time)

From my test earlier, it goes up 0.5 PSI every 2-3 sec

Got one last time on special then returned. Very poor build and electronic read out didn't work properly.

  • What about for re-inflating 4WD tyres after driving in sand? (say 18psi up to 35ish). Would this be up to the task?

    • My test earlier only went from around 30 PSI to 36 PSI and it takes around 30 secs I think

Unless you're using low profile muddies (don't laugh, I have seen them), this will take a while for the first one and much longer for every other one. You'd probably hit thermal cutoff by the third, wait for it to cool down and continue.

Or you'll run out of battery.

    • Good question.
      Any suggestions/feedback from users?

Suitable for 4WD tyre inflation after beach driving?

Reviews sound average enough to steer clear

Got one from last sale, very good.

Becareful not to over tighten the tyre valve or the attachment breaks. Had warranty replacement instant in store so im more careful this time.

    • Did you use for Car tyre?
Is it suitable for 4WD/Prado tyre inflation?

Just purchased one and tried an hour ago, pump works but the pressure indicator already appears to be faulty. I can't see current pressure, therefore the automatic cutoff is useless.

    • did you read instructions booklet?

you set the desired PSI like 32, when u put the attachment on valve it will show current PSI eg: 25PSI, and it will start pumping to 32PSI and turn off by itself

      • Yeah, I read the booklet.

Set the PSI to 36, it will pump but the current PSI is always 0, I let it pump for a while to see if it would eventually work but I took it off and checked with another gauge and it had made the tyre go to 45PSI.

Repco is already going to send out a replacement though

        • Ok sounds like urs is faulty

  • Thanks OP, grabbed one.
