Someone tell me if this is good?

Seems very annoying to have to attach/detach handles, and they will be more flimsy compared to a regular pan, not something I want with super hot heavy things inside the pot/pan.

Might be suitable for someone in a very small apartment or someone who needs to go camping with 15 different pots/pans.

I've got a massive kitchen, yet I constantly run out of space, plus I've got to put my current pots and pans at creative angles to make them fit, rather than being able to stack them neatly.

From other reviews, the handles seem good, but can scratch the non-stick coating.

        • I don't stack my non stick pans anyway, too afraid I'll scratch them, I have a specific pan holder thingy for it from Aldi.

I have both the non-stick and stainless versions of this. Honestly the best part of these is the detachable handle. Storage is a breeze and fitting them in the dishwasher is super easy without the handle.

What spludgey said is true, the handle can scratch the non-stick, but I've only experienced this with the large fry pan due to stirring the contents by shaking the pan like a wok. With all of the other pots/pan this has not been an issue at all.

I stack the non-stick with a coaster in between them, so they don't scratch each other.

Having 2 sets, I have a few handles, but mostly only use 1.. The only time I need the second is if my wife is mashing potato or something in one of the pots.

You put non stick in the dishwasher? I thought all companies didn't recommend it.

Seems extreme anyway, if I rinse some hot water in my non stick pans everything comes straight off, a dishwasher tablet is way too harsh in my opinion.

Disclaimer: I am not great at cooking.

I bought the 3 piece non stick set earlier this year (house hold of 2). I don't stack my pots on top of each other either, but being able to store in my drawer under oven without handle is definitely a win. When cooking a big meal using all 3 pots/pans you defs need a second handle (will likely buy one in the future). From what I've experienced, the handle, pan and lid are decent quality. The handle just lives out near the stove most of the time.

    • I have this unit (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B06XHHWSMQ/ref=ppx_od_d…) for over 2 years - bought it from Amazon for $175 …. its holding pretty well…. SS outside discolours but some barkeepers friend makes it look new….. I like the part where leftovers can go in fridge in the pots without taking too much space

      • Have you had an issue with the handles melting?

I have a 2 piece set and the button for the handle has melted and now can't be clicked to remove or attach handle :(

        • Thats not good to hear… so far I havent had any issues with the handles…. both work fine… out of curiosity - did you buy spare handle in that case? I just checked amazon and damn its expensive… (https://www.amazon.com.au/Tefal-L9933012-Ingenio-Interchange…)

          • @Patman: Haven't bought a new handle yet - partner likes these pots/pans because they're easy to wash and store. So I thought if I was gonna buy a handle straight up I may as well just buy a new set that comes with 2 handles.

Do you have a coil/ceramic/gas cooktop?

            • @Garbotoxin: Gas cooktop… we generally only connect the handle while taking it off the cooktop….

              • +1

@Patman: Gas cooktop here also - I left the handle on there while cooking - this might be why…

    Titanium Excellence non-stick coating

Someone tell me if this is safe?

It's somewhere between a pack of Winfields and a bottle of RoundUp.

  • These sets are too much for me. I was really sad that I missed the ingenio deal last year, 8pcs for $89:
