Doesn't look too amazing sadly. I cant for the life of me figure out whether this is in USD or AUD, cause the prices seem a bit off but specwise it's the same thing.

From review "most competitors are faster, last longer on a battery charge, and are better built, albeit at slightly higher prices. We'd say, though, that unless you're seriously strapped for budget, the additional cost of the competition is worth it, as it's hard to recommend a machine that feels slow and exhibits that screen-rippling effect."

  • eMMC in 2020?

Man the processor is scary. Please check the benchmark before buying.

  • A9 = yuck
    768 = yuck

  • OP, can we add extra RAM?

  • Ok so its a completely trash product. Yep. It's also $380. You're going to hate using it. But if you need it for school/work, and a $600 laptop means skipping meals…i guess it's ok?

    • Hello, this is designed to be a companion device for emails, social media and basic school / work

  • What's the issue with this for kids needing something for high school?
I get the low spec, but anything going to cripple it for school use?
Any better option for the price (need a windows laptop/tablet)

    • It will be so slow that you will hate yourself every second while you are waiting for chrome or anything to load.

      That cpu is a joke

      • Thanks. Daughter might not appreciate that then.

  • I bought a refurbished HP Envy X360 with the same A9 processor and it was maxing out on the most basic of tasks. Even with 8GB RAM, YouTube would stutter. Only keeping as a backup in case my new Asus Vivobook with Ryzen 4700 bites the dust unexpectedly.

    • Wow you would think any processor these days would be able to play youtube videos. I got a refurbished HP Envy x360 too but went Ryzen 5.

  • Chromebook. MUCH better option.

If you’re going to spend a peanut for a laptop, at least stay away from touch screen. It’ll give you more problems than its worth.
Also, since you can only do basic tasks (office processing, email, browsing), you better off with an ipad.

  • my work uses one of these as a label printer except with more RAM and in desktop form.
stock windows 10 lags, especially if you scroll the list.

I disabled/ uninstalled everything on it and now it runs better and does general browsing ok
