Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 14" Laptop $619 @ The Good Guys

150

Gets you above the intel Pentium range for the price and into a 10th Gen i3, but far from bleeding edge specs.
Specs: 10th Gen i3, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Integrated graphics, 14" FHD screen (TN Anti-glare), up to 9hr battery. No USB-C

Comes with Windows 10 in S mode, but should be easy to remove.

Thanks to Price Hipster, this unit was launched at TGG for $879 in June 2020

Happy to hear from anyone if they can find this on TGG Commercial site even cheaper!

      For what?

    • Do you use one? Concerned by this as I’m looking to buy one. Predominantly for Word and internet browsing, need to be able to run multiple tabs and apps at once.
Your feedback would be very helpful.

    • Get a Suncorp Benefits or Macquarie account. Or ask in the OzBargain Classifieds if you're willing to risk buying from someone else.

Could be a different model, but appears cheaper direct from Lenovo and double the SSD storage. $599 delivered +Shopback

    8GB RAM (4 GB soldered + 4 GB in a module)
256GB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe NVMe (I note that this is the faster style SSD and not the horribly slow emmc SDD's that come with a lot of laptops in this price range.

    • Looks like basic Celeron chip not i3

    • Think the processor is different. The 10th gen i3 is $800+ but with double the SSD.

  • This CPU? Decent performance. How good is the contrast on the TN display?
