  • Anyone else having issues with their unit?
I picked up my unit yesterday and it was working fine.
Now when I turn my TV on today it loads the splash saying 'EKO | Android TV' but does not load the actual android menu, panel/remote does nothing..

    • Turned it off at the wall to make sure is restarts, not resumes or similar?

      • Yes I have, see my comment below regarding my experience

I purchased this 75' UHD Frameless version from BigW a few days ago and already have major issues.

I've made a quick video demonstrating the issues faced (note this started happening the day after i received it); https://youtu.be/ItANqYy4H-w

Constant crashing, the TV starts does not start up 90% of the time and just goes to a black screen.

I'm returning my unit and would avoid purchasing one.

EDIT: Seems like another guy has reported a similar issue on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtpPYBNl8Fs

    • Wow that's rough QC…

    • Thanks so much for sharing. Makes me feel a lot better that I waited too long until they were out of stock…

    • Weird. Tried a factory reset from the settings menu? I know with the 65in i have you had to factory reset after installing the new firmware. If you still have it set up i guess it can't hurt.

      • Yep that's what I suggested too to him on WP as well as the 65" thread

also, the second video he linked is for a different, non-Android TV model.

Anyone keen to share their calibrated video settings.
I've fiddled around with it, however would like to know what the greater community have done.

  • anyone having trouble running kodi on this tv
all I get is new controller detected the moment I touch the remote
    and it freezes

    • I havent tried myself. Have you tried disconnecting the bluetooth remote and using it just as IR?

Bluetooth played up for me after each update and had to factory reset. I have just been using it as an IR remote since.

      • What you have said makes a lot of sense
I have not updated the tv but the bluetooth remote is playing up ( not responding now and then).
When you say disconnect the bluetooth remote I assume you mean resetting the tv and not setting up the bluetooth on the remote.
I have tried in the settings and googling find anything to turning off the bluetooth
        thanks mate.

        • Do you have a section in the settings menu for "remotes and accessories?"

You could always do a factory reset and just not pair the remote i guess. Just means you need to install your aps again though.
