Refurbished Garmin Vivoactive 4S Powder Grey $384.95 Delivered (RRP $579) @ the_best_brands eBay

90

I've been doing some research around a new smartwatch/fitness tracker, and I found this on eBay AU. It's from UK, free delivery to Australia. They mention a 12-month warranty that is probably UK-based.

Seller with good reviews.

EDIT:
As others mentioned, this is a newly overhauled (NOH) device (aka refurbished).

"This is a Garmin Newly Overhauled device"

A newly overhauled (NOH) device is a device that was returned to Garmin to be factory refurbished.

I bought the Vivoactive 3 for $250 from them recently and shipping took forever (more than 3 weeks from the UK) (only because amazon was out of stock, same price). Then was hugely disappointed that it was a refurbished and it just came in a plain box. The watch has been good but I wouldn't buy from these guys to be honest.

Thank you for letting us know.

  • Why would you get this when you can get the superbly rated Garmin 245 from the Iconic for $399?

Agreed, though it is $399 everywhere it seems https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/garmin-forerunner-245-mus…

I think there are different reasons in favor of one or another:

The Vivoactive 4S is definitely a better option for me (smaller, less buttons, NFC).

"The Vivoactive 4/4S and Venu are better suited for those less serious about running, people that also dabble in other sports. The range comes with an altimeter for floors climbed, NFC for contactless payments, touchscreen, a choice of design options and more features you won’t find on the Forerunner.

Having said that, those that enjoy the data aspect of running will be better off with the Forerunner 245. This is due to its long list of performance metrics. You’ll get detailed post-run analysis, current training condition and suggestions for the next training."

It's always good to have options as people have different requirements and preferences. ;)

agreeing with @tderevko as well. I've done research, and comparisons between all Garmin watches. Def go for 245 if you're a serious runner and only running but it doesn't have barometric altimeter to track elevation (weird omission), and you would have to go for 645 or 945. The forerunner line has a more sporty look. Whereas vivoactive 4 has a bit more of a versatile look, can dress up or down, and has all the sensors.

  • Was looking at this. Ended up ordering garmin forerunner 45 for $194 off Amazon from UK. Hopefully arrives soon
