Start sharing some love (and not hate like some here like to do).

So this week we’re helping everyone outside Victoria send some love to their Melbourne mates. Each day this week, the first 1000 people from anywhere outside Victoria will be able to send their mate a free dessert or ice cream delivery, valued up to $20*, from a local Melbourne dessert business.

This #lockdownlove offer will run from 8pm each day this week, till Friday September 4, and is one way we can all show Melbournians that we’re here for them.

How #LockdownLove and Share My Delivery works:

  • Enter your Melbourne-based loved one’s address as the delivery location in the Uber Eats app. When you search the app will show restaurants near them, instead of you.
  • Click the #LockdownLove banner at the top of the app to see the available selection of restaurants.
  • On the checkout screen, enter the promo code mondaylove (tuesdaylove, and so on). The first 1000 eligible dessert orders each day made after 8pm will be able to send their Melbourne mate free dessert (up to $20, including delivery fee).
  • Press “Order Now”, then click the “Share this delivery” option at the top of the Uber Eats app.
  • Send the tracker link to your friend. When your friend opens the shared link in a browser window, it’ll show where in the delivery process that surprise treat is in real time.

Referral Links

Drivers Only: random (70)

Referrer gets $300-$500 once referee completes at least 30-40 deliveries.
Referees may be eligible for special offers based on the number of trips or deliveries they made after signing up through an invitation.

Riders Only (Uber Pool): random (62)

$8 off 2 Uber Pool rides for the referrer and referee. Referee must not have taken an Uber Pool ride before. Open referral link from a mobile device.

      It can access the GPS… it knows where you are. Or do you mean you spoofed the gps?

        I think it probably looks at addresses you've actually ordered to in the past. If you're ordering to the address you would normal order to or have ordered to its probs gonna go hmm.

        Or it could entirely be dependent on where your "home" is set. Changing that didn't do anything for me, maybe they look at your home pre announcement of promotion.

    Clicked the banner @ 7:55pm, it sends you to a link with the participating stores, click on one of those
    Choose food+delivery total < $20.00. add to cart.
    Go to cart.
    7:59 type in promo code: MONDAYLOVE or whatever it is that day.
    8:00:00 hit apply
    Then complete order. Asap.

      You most likely had to change the format of the body because the server may not be setup to handle application/json data types. In this case if you have access to your server you can add it to a config file or in . htaccess. If you still get the error, then there is an error in the server's json response.

          He just make a joke, because thats how developer need to fix the server if they got JSON Unrecognized token.
          The end user cant do anything about it.
