Code says it's valid, but still shows a shipping fee?

      • +1

        needs to be over $20

        • Yes, spot on 👍

          • @vash5: tried for the amount higher than $20 and got this - "Invalid Voucher! or Order does not meet the condition!". Can anyone advise if the voucher has expired? Thank you.

            • +1

              @Ametric: I'll give it a crack shortly.

I purchased x2 of the dish washing packs and it worked for me.

            • +1

@Ametric: May be limited shipping areas (eg may be Melbourne only, been a few of those around lately with the lockdown)

Edit: Seems to be a success from Sydney.

@futureminime: thank you, I am in Dandenong VIC, and didn't work for me :(

    • You legend. Saved me getting my @$$ up off the couch and down to CW. I live in regional QLD, ordered 4 boxes and the code for free shipping worked.

      • My pleasure mate 😊👍 enjoy RnR and a beer on me 🍺

Cheap, but Finish classic are a pretty ordinary dishwater tablet.

Finish Ultimate, Fairy or Aldi's better tier tablet seem a lot better.

It's got the red powerball in it, it has hundreds of millions of dollars of TV advertising behind it, starting decades ago. You do not seem very educated about the sheer cleaning power of the red powerball, it sends out little sparkle animations that will leave your dishes literally sparkling.

      • +4

You are certainly correct, I too have seen the animation. Perhaps I used them incorrectly.

    • +4

This works well for me, I find no difference between the ultimate and the classic

      • +1

Same.. at the price it's a steal!!

  • Thanks…. bought 10 and it came with free shipping. I think I usually pay $18-$19 at Office Works for these. Great price and find OP!

    • +1

Is that like 3 years supply at one wash per day??

      • +1

My house usually has two washes a day but for nearly half price I thought why not!

    • how does this work? do i just put the powder into the bottom of the dishwasher?

      • just put into the dispenser where the tablet would normally go. Measured as per instructions

    • Any reviews? Comparisons to proprietary tablets etc? Keen to use powder

      • +1

Pretty much all the same chemicals. Is it your machine design, how you load, or the quality of the cleaning chemicals (or a combo of these)? There's no secret on what chemicals work/don't.

YMMV but IME all these alternatives work just fine. I cycle through different products for everything in my household.

        • Thanks mate. Cost wise, powder is more economical, right? Thoughts?

          • +1

@JJlikes2eat: Cheapest per 100g is the best way (no matter which way) including postage. Tablets are roughly 20-25g from memory, use a scale to check yourself and compare to powder (many of those sites have discount codes just for signing up, or buying a certain dollar value).

Not having to buy as often is helpful too, less friction in your life.

Thanks OP bought two from My Chemist and used FS7824 code for free shipping as mentioned in original post

  • +2

Thanks OP. I was doing a pricebeat at Officeworks on some other items today, and added this. They were happy to do it.

    • Thanks New Chump. Good to know! Are the Officeworks ones with wrapper that dissolves, or has to be removed before use?

  • +1

I think these have the wrapper that you need to remove before use? Anyone can confirm?

    • +1

      From the product website:

      Directions
Unwrap one tablet and place into the dispenser for best results. If the tablet does not fit, consult the dishwasher manufacturer or manual for advice. Use Finish Salt and Finish Rinse Aid. Suitable for septic tanks.

      1) Remove food scraps and scrape plates and dishes.
      2) Load dishes with soiled surfaces facing water spray.
      3) Unwrap one tablet and place in the dry dispenser. For short cycles (30 minutes), IF IT DOES NOT FIT IN THE DISPENSER or does not dissolve properly place it in the bottom of the dishwasher. FOR A FISHER & PAYKEL DISHDRAWER, place tablet in an empty section of the cutlery basket.
      4) For best performance, use the "normal" wash cycle or a specialist tablet wash cycle or a specialist tablet wash cycle. Suitable for most septic tanks, however refer to manufacturer of your waste water treatment system for septic advice. Finish Rinse Aid is recommended for best drying and shine results.

    • Craps. Now I remember why I don't use this

  • Man…i regretted buying 3 boxes of these when it was on sale for $15 each.
    I felt so ripped off.

  • Have Finish finally got rid of that 3D effect jewel on the front that looked like it was state of the art graphics from 1982?
