This is a very Cheap FHD IPS monitor for $199. I have bought it and it works perfectly, the rrp of this Monitor on acer is around $299 found here (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/model/UM.QV0SA.002). This monitor works amazingly, and looks very sexy in my new work station.

I don't think I can find this monitor on any other Australian site which is a bit odd.
Doesn't look too bad though. Delivery for me is $20.

This one is better if you want Displayport and don't mind losing the speakers, free shipping too https://www.centrecom.com.au/aoc-24g2e5-24-1ms-75hz-full-hd-…

    • Noob general question (kid just got a video card with 3x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI outputs, currently running a single monitor on the HDMI) Could I get one of the cables from eBay for under $10 like "Display Port Displayport DP to HDMI Cable Male to Male Full HD High Speed 1.8M" and have good results? Or is DP to DP better? I was planning on getting him 2x of the same monitor soon.

      • Yes adapters work. Just make sure to find out if you need the passive or active adapters.

  • Great deal. Has built in speakers and 2 x hdmi as well.
Spewing I just bought a different model for about the same price!

    • No, the one you posted has a VA panel, while this deal has an IPS

  • Nothing can beat the Samsung 24 SR350 for value in this price point with these functionalities

I bought two of these monitors late last year, at about ~$145 each. From Bing Lee on ebay, in one of their 20% promotions.

Been using them only for basic purposes (WFH now), but pretty happy with them. The thin bezels are nice.

The speakers are pretty crap, even though my expectations were already low given these are built-in speakers. My previous Benq monitor also had built-in speakers and they sounded much better than the Acer. Not a big deal for me though.
