  • Says i need Ebay plus

If only these weren't significantly marked up before being discounted.
Dream Machine is $499 (plus post) at megabuy/umart and $500 vtech industries … http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=ubiquiti+dream&….
So only $15 cheaper (after the "21% discount") on a $500 item.
Best deal at the moment, but don't be fooled by the BS from fleabay.

    • Cheaper is cheaper……….

Edit: Actual cheaper deal, saving money, not caring how or why eBay does it's thing, its cheaper right now from eBay…so…..

      • Agreed - lousy that it be like it is, but it do. No different than alternating between a %-off promotion and then a cashback.

  • I wonder should I sign up Ebay plus just to get this deal lol? My Ebay Plus just expired last week, I remembered I got the membership last year for $1.

  • Despite the jack, people need to remember that eBay and PayPal fees are pretty exorbitant, so the store really does have to cover some of the costs back with a temporary jack before discount.

They could always offer a genuine discount directly through their own store and post it on OzBargain if they want to move stock.
My post wasn't having a go, its just clarifying that the actual discount is closer to 3%. Something to be mindful about if considering eBay Plus membership.
Still the cheapest option for the items listed is to do this, although you sacrifice the ability to return to POS easily for warranty claims.

      • Good point. I guess having an eBay store they probably get a not so gentle nudge nudge to participate.

  • I miss wireless1 and budgetpc joining in on these sales. And goodguys, bing lee, myer etc etc etc

  • Are the dream machines any good? Outside of the hype, I have read some mixed reviews on these. Does any one have any experiences with these as a ips/ids solution?

    • UDM handles approx 850Mbps with IDS/IPS on and approx 940Mbps with IDS/IPS off.

  • Is $205.40 Ubiquiti UVC-G3-BULLET UniFi Video Camera Infrared IR 1080P HD Video working for anyone else? I can't seem to get the PARTY21 to apply.

    • spoke to EBAY; they gave out a new discount code.
