Good price on the XT variant. I've seen plenty of good overclocking results from the XT variants posted online if that's your thing.

Lowest local price is around $800

If you do want to buy this make sure you choose the one from Amazon US not "Lara Welsby" for $723…

      Nothing confirmed officially beyond a Q4 release. Everyone's expecting an announcement and reveal by the end of October, giving enough time for stock to arrive for the biggest sales period of the year.

  Can get a 3900X for $670, this doesn't perform 10% better but is 10% more, don't think it's worth it. I will say if you just want to consume as much power as possible, this is the chip to get, will really test your AM4 motherboard, 3900X will do also, but this is that much higher I believe.

    Yup GamersNexus lambasted the 3800/3900XTs.

    The only value from the series was amazingly the 3600XT.
