Nice looking ear phones but the disconnecting issues have me a bit worried…

    • I have the 75Ts and yeh do get disconnects from time to time, I would still recommend the earbuds though, they have been great, have them in all day at work.

Just wish you could use left and right separately as I only have 1 side in during the day.

I have a colleague who complained about this issue. I asked him to try what I did with my 65ts - reinstall the firmware by choosing a different language and back to your preferred language. He said the issue hasn't resurfaced since then.

        Hope this helps.

Had these for a month and returned them. Worst piece of consumer tech I've ever used. Just plagued with bugs. Check out reddit if you need confirmation. Do not bother.

@carpecrash: Damn, are there any decent buds? I was waiting for the Pixel Buds 2 and they turned out to have issues. People were recommending the Jabras and it looks like they have issues too. Why oh why did companies have to kill the headphone jack? It sounds like BlueTooth isn't an adequate replacement

Interesting, I have the 75T Active and don't have this problem… wonder what it is. :/

        • Totally agree. I have the same and I really like them

    • +4

I had the 65t's and 'upgraded' to the 75t's, now I'm looking at buying another pair of 65t's, they sounded better, were more comfortable, and had no disconnection issues.

      • +1

Interesting, in what way do they sound worse?

        • Mostly weird sound effect when I am on a call, crackles and feedback from the 'hear through' function.

        • I have both too, the 75T have better overall sound than the 65T.
… And I find the 75T more comfortable.

The 65T are less lively, the mid's and high are far less vibrant. Comparitevly the 65T feels flat and boring. The 75T has a better sound stage, more vibrancy and lift without lacking and bass.

I have had my 75T active's for just around four months and have experienced no disconnect issues. I love them.

    • +2

I've had 75ts since the day they were released. Not had any problems, and they're a vast improvement over 65t.

Have also come across some Samsung Galaxy Buds and they're mostly comparable, though I would say the galaxy buds Bluetooth have further reach.

I can vouch for these too. If call quality is your thing and you don’t want to buy AirPods/Pro, this is the best in the market to take business calls. But bear in mind if you really want the absolute best microphone quality then AirPods are always the way to go.

Been using them for a couple of months now and have absolutely no regret at this price range

  • I have 75t as well, and have no issues at all.

FWIW the user reviews are mostly excellent
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/jabra-elite-75t-true-wire…

  • These are simply amazing, and that's a great price! Nice find! Have been using them for several months now without a hitch.

  • I was tossing up between these and the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 5100's as theyre around the same $$$. Ended up with the 5100s. Small form, great sound, havent disconnected on me once and great for calls.

  • Is the elite 75t and active 75t referring to the same thing?

    • Elite Active is a slightly more expensive model which is water resistant.

Change that to sweat proof. Essentially, are you a moist dude?

I'm a runner who looks like they've had a shower after 5mins and runs half marathons (well, not atm as I'm in Melb), I picked the Active over the elite and the only trouble I had is with the fit.

Essentially, my ears are a little too big for the mediums, too small for the large. I recently bought some replacement earbuds (SpinFit CP360) from Amazon, if anyone is interested in a review/follow up after they come lemme know : )

        • Hey Shroomlet, keen to know :)
ive got 65t active earphones and run a bit and can never find the right size to keep them in my ear.

          • @ahilen: Cool! When they come in i'll post back here and let you/everyone else know :)

          • +1

@ahilen: Ok, so they just came in today, DEFINITE IMPROVEMENT, unlike the flat ones that come with the Jabra these ones are rounded, and hold so much better/feel more comfortable. I got the Medium/Large set. When they're in the case they do fit a bit more snugly, but the lid still closes perfectly fine.

I one hundred percent recommend them. They so far haven't tried to fall out of my ears in the last few hours, even when I've had lunch/talked heaps on the phone for work.

  • I'm really tempted but one thing I'd like to know is I'm seeing people having issues with latency.

For example, I'd like to use these while watching video content on my laptop, tablet, and even for gaming on a Nintendo Switch if possible. What's everyone experience with latency with these buds. Any better options like maybe the Galaxy Buds?

    • Great product for voice and listening to music only but do not buy for playing games!!!

These do not have BT aptX or whatever reduced latency protocol it needs so there is a noticeable lag when I am playing games with these buds on the phone…to the point where I never game with them anymore.

That being said, great for phone calls and listening to music.

      • Thanks, how about using streaming services like Netflix & Amazon? Sound all good with those? Would be pairing while listening on laptop & tablet ideally

  • I have the 65t version, great headphones. Sometimes have issues with desync if I separate my phone and the earphones and the app is prone to losing your settings if that happens. Anyway, @OP, are you aware of the Air Supply?

    • No idea dude

  • Many many postings of issues with the 65t and 75t models on reddit, typically the left or right bud volume reducing to almost zero. Particularly prevalent after upgrading to the latest firmware (and you can't go back).

Note also Jabra does not support use on anything other than phones or tablets e.g. laptops or computers.

On my own 75t's the right earbud had this issue - none of the suggested fixes on the net or from Jabra themselves did anything. Eventually they replaced them (his took almost 3 months) and I immediately sold the replacements unused.

Have not issues with the Samsung Buds+ I bought as replacements.

    • Is there anything the Samsung Buds + do better than the 75ts? Which one would you recommend if the 75ts worked 100%?

In the US, 75Ts are around $50 more. They're the same price in Australia.

      • Wireless charging, working with my laptop and other devices and generally a better seal in the Buds+ for me. But this may well be a personal thing.

I think you can also use one Bud+ on its own too - pretty sure Jabra don't do that.

No way I will ever go back to Jabra after my experiences though.

  • Best pair of in-ear buds, moved from Samsung buds+ because of poor build quality. These sounds way better and good set of microphones as well.

No disconnect issues like other comments, using with Oneplus 7 pro and Thinkpad.

    Conflicting reviews 😂😂😂

  • Used the 65t for 2 years. Upgraded to 75t when they came out due to multi pairing and better mics (read: actually usable mics in noisy areas compared to 65t).

Theyve been flawless and have been even more useful in iso as I have them paired to my phone and work laptop, and it switches flawlessly.

My left ear gets a little uncomfortable after 3 hours which my 65t didn't, but my right ear is fine. A little odd but not fussed seeing as I really shouldn't have in ears in for that long.

    Tldr: highly recommended.

  • A number of friends and I with these find they don’t stay in my ears well. Twice during a run the left bud actually fell out! Jabra support isn’t very helpful so these, including the pairing issues I also have in occasion, make these an avoid for me.

  • I’ve had mine for about 3 months now, and like many here, haven’t had any issues whatsoever. Been an AirPods user before these and I think these sound great. Simultaneously connecting to laptop and phone has been a very useful feature. Fit has been good for me for runs, and I generally have difficulty getting in ear phones to stay in my ears. Tried some foam earpads from Amazon (misodiko was the name I think) and I now use one of those in the left ear and the Jabra silicone one in the right ear.

Can price match the product with Officeworks, using zumi.com.au. Just got a pair for $236.55.

  • TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THESE EARBUDS - I ordered some replacement ear tips, the SpinFit CP360 ones. They've just come in the mail today and they're a huge improvement. Unlike the flat ones that come with the Jabra these ones are rounded, and hold so much better/feel more comfortable. I got the Medium/Large set. When they're in the case they do fit a bit more snugly, but the lid still closes perfectly fine.
