Bought one of these little beauties about 2 months ago for slightly more than this. Can confirm the 18V Flexvolt batteries we get here in Oz work in the tool. I use my Aussie charger not the US one, and it charges the 2aH battery.

The skin only versions locally are $329 retail at Bunnings, Trade Tools etc, so think it's a pretty decent price.

  • What tasks do you use it for?

    • +1

Heaps of things… Cutting different materials, especially smaller things that are too delicate for a bigger saw, or in hard to reach places. The sander is also really useful for sanding corners, window casings or anything that an orbital or belt sander is too big for. I would highly recommend.

  • Does this work with Oz's 220v ?

    • Its battery powered.

      • still need to charge the battery right?

        • -1

          yes. Read the OP

    • Not sure.. You may need a voltage converter and definitely an adapter, so may only be worth it if you already have a charger.

      • Charger model is dcb112, according to specs supports switching between 100v to 260v so should be fine with adapter.

  • Great deal. Trying to find this type of pack but in Makita off Amazon..

  • FYI, Dewalt Australia won't cover warranty all DeWalt products outside of Australia.
