Yeah, a "Pro" model has been rumored for a long time now and even debunked by Nintendo saying it won't come in 2020.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if an updated model is released next year. It's been 3 years since the original release and they might want a new model to compete with the soon to be released Xbox and PS5. I doubt we'll see any confirmation until next year as announcing a new model will hurt Christmas sales.

Can anyone comment on claiming warranty with Gamesmen? Or is it done through Nintendo?
It would be through either. Through the retailer for ACL, and through Nintendo with their limited warranty. Either of them should help you out if you have issues down the road.
For what it’s worth, had a Switch with joy-con drift that they fixed (send away) no charge, as they should. They ended up shipping back a new one. Bought it through Amazon (who were useless) but big N were pretty straight forward.

I don’t know. Sorry. It’s a good question though. I would send them an email. Otherwise yes I would expect that it would be done via post.
Update: They do allow for in-store warranty claims which helps if you're local and eager to avoid mailing it.

Gamesmen are a fantastic retailer btw.Second hand switches were going for $450+. This is one of the best prices since the highs.
If you were quick enough to get Catch vouchers at 15% off from PayPal recently then regular switch is $380 ish from Catch. I was lucky and got this last Thursday, amazingly delivered on Saturday!
It's been 5 hours and only 18 units are sold by looking at the eBay sold history.
Conclusion: switch price will crash.

I'd say so too. The Gamesmen $385 ones the other day sold alright but the last batch they put up still had stock 30 minutes after they went up. And I wouldn't be surprised if most who bought it did it purely to resell on ebay.

They seem to always price consoles above their RRP when ebay are offering discount codes.
Wherever you go, the Switch is selling for $469, yet they have it for $484 to eat into the discount.
They did the same to the PS4 Pro offer in March when they priced the console at $520
I think the bundled protective case jacks the price above RRP. Either way, the Gamesmen is an awesome store with awesome staff.
Nah, they just add the cost of postage to the item and advertise “free post”. It’s why it’s just a few dollars extra rather than a massive markup
