What am I missing here?
Free for Prime….
Ah ok. OP left that bit out.
Apologies, I have updated the original post.
No worries. Just thought I was missing a step is all. Thanks, mate.
I got a price match at JB for a 32 key version for $280.
I bought one of these a few weeks ago to help reduce RSI from my mouse, still getting everything setup… it's great, having shortcuts right there, and with profiles it switches buttons automatically depending on the active application… it takes a bit of setting up, but is well worth the effort.
Just be aware Elgato warranty is not international and these stream decks can have issues now and then
My friend who streams is on his third one due to failures
(it works well when it works so he keeps replacing it)
So be prepared to deal with that if you import one.
Amazon have really good returns and warranty from experience.
when you buy from UK via Au you need to return to UK
This is something you need to be prepared for as Amazon AU will help as much as they can but you may be required to cover shipping back to the UK as Elgato Aus wont deal with it here as the warranty is not international.
Saying that the Elgato Aus warranty process is very good and quick
That’s good to know, thank you.
Nah uk store is now part of amazon global and part of prime. So returns are just to Amazon au
@Techno Mouse: Can tell you literally had this issue two weeks ago.
Purchased an item on AU
Was shipped from UK.
So UK via AU
was from amazon not third party.
Was covered by prime shipping etc.
Arrived faulty, contacted amazon AU
Was given shipping address label for UK that I had to pay for.
You have to return it to the warehouse it comes from so US, UK etc and it’s your own expense if you do.
@jimbobaus: Ah I see. You're right that they are yet to include amazon UK for change of mind returns. You should be able to get a $32 refund for the postage you paid if your item was faulty though. They haven't excluded UK from that in the global terms.
Any tips on using one of these for anything besides streaming? Like streamlining programs? Quick shortcuts you guys use?
Check out Companion for Streamdeck (if you're into any Audio-Visual related stuff, or can program. It's easy to build modules)
