95 points from Halliday: Another vote of confidence in this relatively recently introduced label, sister to the Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. It deserves to be so rated, with a particularly complex palate in terms of texture, structure and flavour. Red fruits lead the band, and there are some darker, savoury, earthy nuances, in turn enhanced by quality oak and fine, but persistent, tannins.

      (*Mine is at the same stage, and was ordered a 9pm. I assume the order reached this stage instantly once the CC was processed. The email says "Order Tracking
      Australia Post will send you an email with a tracking code when your order is shipped."

    OMG the experience of this product is terrible…If I paid anywhere near full price, I would be pissed. The wine is stored in a really foul smelling box and for some reason the tin box is caked in this glue residual from their label stickers or something. Its really disgusting. Took my bottle out straight away to air out the odour and throw the "gift box" in the bin. People would be angry to receive that "gift box"

        Yeah nah too many shiraz deals on. Still havent finished my bottle of wolf blass grey yet so it'd be a good while before I even drink this. Might even give it away. Only problem with this Wynns is that I dont think they've stored it properly. For the box to get that sticky and smelly, it'd have to be stored in a pretty warm area over an very extended period of time.

        I contacted them online on their site The sales rep checked and told me mine was due to be posted out end of this week ie tomorrow Friday with Aust Post then taking up to 10 days to deliver according to Aus Post. Probably the same with your orders?

    Drinking one now and it is a delicious shiraz. Full flavour. Smooth. Not too dry/tannin.

    Neg - there is a lot of sediment in the bottom of my glass.

        Sediments are usually a good sign and can be left in bottle when carefully decanted or poored.

        On the other hand, if there were chemical odors in gift box, that could taint the wine if it has a cork.

    Received 2 of mine in Vic today. Oddly one was boxed up and another just bubble wrapped. I guess they were dispatched separately but held up at auspost hence arrived together.
    My giftboxes are sticky too, but wine inside looks okay

      Solved my own problem. A little bit of Jif gets the job done, just don’t use too much or it will flake off the paint. Take care around label as well.
