Hi all, don't think this model has ever been shared on Ozb before. Price is not bad if you want to buy (mid-tier?) nvme drive right now. Expect shipping to take a little bit of time, guess I'll find out.

below basic specs for 1TB model:
Sequential read up to 3500MB/s
Sequential write up to 2000MB/s
IOPS: up to 293/272K
3D TLC
TBW: 600TB

Also very keen to hear any first hand experience with this drive while I wait for it to come.

  Just join the NVMe bandwagon and got a 500GB for my boot drive. The speed is incredible, boot up takes only a few seconds. Worth every cents!

  I have a few Lexar SD cards, some i've purchased from eBay and others I have from Amazon. When I compared same models on read/write performance, significantly different results. Even some of the ones that were meant to be faster performed slower. They either have very poor quality control or there are many counterfeit products on sale at Amazon/eBay(a lot of negative feedback in comments). I've also noticed on some products even though it shows as Amazon being the seller, they still would be sourcing their products from someone else… Not saying this is a fake product but in my personal experience unless it is a reputable Aussie seller, I won't take the risk.

  Better off with an A2000 for $140 IMO or going straight up to the 970 Evo Plus, this Lexar drive is barely better than the A2000.

  A2000 is the same thing for $50 less at current pricing. While cool to have a different product, I would not consider it a bargain in the face of other products.
