Haha I organised that deal with rep. It wasn't jacked, he was setting price @ $239 and off shore team had old info and was "fixing" price back at $279 so he had to manually keep changing it at my request. Dell is honouring price for those who paid more. I bought 2.
Those will be back at that low price after Oct shipments are out and the dgf $500 deal will also be back after Oct.

I just bought the 27' deal then measured my current monitor setup & realised I'm using 2 x 24' & was planning on upgrading one doh!!

Does this have better value?They look pretty similar specs at a glance. Dell stand has more movement options (height). Samsung silver bottom bezel (meh) vs Dell silver stand (meh).

Ordered exactly the same monitor from Dell’s website earlier today for $230.3.
Just called customer support, cancelled the order and purchased from eBay for $45 less.That's awesome, exactly what this site is for.
ebay has a longer estimated delivery date though (30 Sep vs 17 Sep), but I don’t mind waiting for 2 weeks as it’s much cheaper :)
My current screen is Dell U2414H. Although it's old, it has same specs as this one. Do I feel difference if I replace the old by this new one? Thank you.
Hard to say however yours ia an ultrasharp and this is the S series. I would think your current screen has a better picture but someone else may be able to weigh in with better experience.
In general ultrasharp shall be better on image quality.
This or the samsung sr350? I'm mainly gonna use it for media consumption
