Can you claim with Medicare?
Medicare doesnt provide glasses, it only covers the visit to the optometrist.
There's not a lot of physical items medicare covers, usually just public health services.

Most of the shops makes deal 2 for 1 deal most of the year. Internet orders usually AU$100 or less.
This, I usually go to specsavers simply because it's 2 for $200 most of the time and they're great with after sales service (I always seem to need to get them adjusted a couple of times, I've dropped pairs and broken screws, lost nose pads, etc. They always just replace them free of charge). Not a chance I'd pay the same for an online only store.
Also $100 per pair for polarising, again the same price for walk-in stores. No thanks.
