Gets pretty expensive tearing it off everything you in da club

  • Also , they had some Lacoste Polos at Costco for $69.99 a month ago if anyone is interested

    Tell'em they're dreamin'!

Not really a bargain when you can get same quality polo's for 50AUD from amazon uk, see Hackett London and such

    • +1

People buying these care as much or more about the brand than they do about the quality, so for those that must have Lacoste it's a bargain.

wouldn't it be cheaper to use heat transfer sticker

        • Shhh, you are giving away their secret to mass profit!

Uniqlo ones at $30ish just as good… You're paying $70 for the croc logo

      • just as good

I bet they're not 'as good', although no doubt decent.

Stupidly expensive things aren't so because of brand alone. They can use better fabrics, dyes, methods of construction, quality control and so on.

I wore polo shirts ~250 days a year for 15 years until fairly recently. Mostly cheap or mid range stuff but 1 or 2 premium brands (lactoste, fred perry) which are holding up well after 10+ yrs where the others have gone out of shape, lost buttons or come apart at the seams.

Seen them get down to mid 50's. This price is about what you'd pay most of the time.

Aren't polo shirts like $5-$10 from Kmart?

  • -1

Sorry, I found it and others cheaper

Same item same price but with FREE delivery:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Lacoste-Mens-Basic-Slim-Polo/dp/B0…

$58 on amazon for standard fit

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Lacoste-L1212-Classic-Shirt-Standa…

    • Sorry, but only the colour red in size small is cheaper, the rest are more expensive or only available in specific sizes.

They be like, "Oh, that Lascote? That's hella tight"
    I'm like, "Yo, that's 50 dollars usd for a T-shirt"
Limited edition, let's do some simple addition
50 dollars for a T-shirt, that's just some ignorant bitch shit
    I call that getting-swindled-and-pimped shit
I call that getting tricked by business
    That shirt's hella dough

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/australian-cotton-polo-shir… - $10-15

https://www.kmart.com.au/product/australian-grown-cotton-pol… - $15 (This one has a logo if that is your thing, but it is of a moose rather than a croc)

It is like 2 identical cars, one has a BMW logo on it for $76,000 (was $109,000), and another has a Toyota logo for $10-15,000. Both cars are identical except for the logo. Which one is a bargain and which one do you buy?

    • +2

Sorry but that’s a silly comparison.
Lacoste should last you for decades. Kmart will look weathered in months and soon enough fall apart.

      • Whatever they are made out of the same material and probably come out of the same factory with same slave labour.

Buy 7 of the Kmart tops for the same price as one of the other brand.

        • Fair enough. It is ozbargain. Lacoste shirt may last 5 years.??? So buys 8x different colour shirts from Kmart, They should last 5 years.

    • Except both cars are not identical.
