G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz, CL16 for $269 + Delivery @ Shopping Express

260

Been stalking this since I missed out on the last deal. Looks like they've restocked this great deal but for a few bucks more.
Old deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/565083

Not Samsung die-b, but great for Ryzen systems.

Still excellent value for CL16 3600MHz ram!

    FYI all, unlikely B-die

  • Looks like these have some sort of fancy LEDs on them or am I seeing things, well title doesn't state anything so doesn't the description 🤪

Didn't you miss the memo? All PC components must reflect the style of a 14 year old boy going through puberty.

Except for Noctua's brown fans which resembles style 14 year old boys from the 70's.

These are Hynix chips, likely C-die. They do appear on AMD's QVL list for Zen 3, but price is premium over the Patriot Viper deal which was just posted, also Hynix C-die but not on QVL.

  • If you don't need RGB the Crucial Ballistix are cheaper and probably have E die.

  • Hey peeps, is there an easy way to identify what class die ram is? I find it hard to confirm this info even from the manufactures website at times.

CL Timing:16-19-19-39 which suggests this is not Samsung B-Die, the model number for this is F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC.

    A Samsung B-Die kit from G.Skill would be F4-3600C16D-32GTZN

    • Thanks

  • if i don't overclock, this c-die would be just fine and there is no need to spend extra on corsair dominator platinum right?
