    Yeah this is really cheap for this $10.98 delivered. I'm just trying to think if i really need one or if anyone would want it as a Christmas present. Tying up 6 x AAA's isn't a good thing either.

    $10.08 on ebay delivered but that is for only salt or pepper not both…

      I think it is a good Xmas gift idea. I will keep one for myself and give the other one away. It is just something anyone can easily add to the kitchen or dining table. Battery is a bummer but it has a light so could use it as a torch when power is down… LOL

    Another problem i have is i don't encourage the use of salt on food too much so this would kind of be like a game of sorts using the device to watch it work and see your sodium levels increase as a result. Nah i'm going to pass, for me and the family it's more effort to get the manual salt grinder out of the pantry if salt is needed on the food and this extra effort is a good thing.
