I just got 2 pairs of Deacon during the Hush Puppy clearance bargain posted here last month for about the same price of $40 each delivered.
I've been wearing these every day for work for the last 4-5 years (on my 3rd pair currently which I started about 3 months ago, so they're pretty durable as well). Very comfortable.
They're not RMs but they're perfect for my needs. I just can't bring myself to pay RM money.

Did anyone else find the sizing to be way off? I got my usual UK 8.5 and they seem like they're about one size too small.
