i wouldn't risk buying it from mwave, regardless of the price…

  • I thought the 2200 Sandforce series had BSOD issues?

  • So you save $12 compared with MSY stocking these for $254.

Saving $12 I wouldn't consider "Rush Hour Sale", especially a 1 hour window of opportunity…

  • the link appears to go through some kind of referral gateway? gets a neg from me just for that.

also, while this SSD is a good one, its not worth the premium over the Crucial M4 or OCZ Vertex 3 in my view.

  • Review of SSDs in Australian PC User December 2011 edition (just released) has this as the bottom of the bunch. Guess mwave are clearing stocks before most people read this mag.

In the enthusiast 120Gb catagory PC User lists:
    Patriot Wildfire 120Gb as 85%
Corsair Force GT 120Gb as 80%
    Corsair M4 128Gb as 80%
    OCZ Vertex 3 120Gb as 80%
    Kingston Hyperx 120Gb as 70%

    • So what does this mean?

      • That's their summary ratings for the performance SSDs they reviewed. I am not going to type in the full article. If you want to read it or get their ratings for standard SSDs you will need to go down to your local newsagency and read the reviews (that's if they have the December issue in yet). I got mine from my local library.
