Man, that confirms it - there's a vacuum cleaner for everything!

  • has anyone used one of the Bissell carpet cleaners to clean their mattress??

    • +1

      Just use your Dyson

    • Bissell one works but not a deep clean.
Also it is too much effort on moving the whole thing back and forward to clean a spot.
Not to mention you also need to wait for the carpet dry up.
      Get a professional carpet cleaner.

    High-frequency flapping: 11000 time/minute

    That sounds painful.

    • +1

It's a fine line between pleasure and pain.

  • Use handheld steam cleaner to clean your mattress

    • +1

wouldnt that rust the springs underneath or cause mold if not dried properly?

    • +1

Yep tried Bissell, too much of a maul. Now do this-

      1) vacuum both sides and edges
      2) use corner attachment along all seams
      3) use steam machine on full force up-down then across-across on every surface
      4) put ceiling fan on high for one hour, flip mattress over and fan dry other side for another hour
      5) repeat 1 & 2 quickly to suck up anything that's been killed.

  • From what I've read, a UV light that small is practically useless. You would need to hold it over a specific area for a long time (30 minutes) for it to kill anything.

  • it cost money to win that design award - global competition.

  • 110W power

    That's… abysmal.

  • A vibrating iron that sucks? 🤭

  • What bllsht design award is this?

Family members have asthma and dust mite allergy.
Without a HEPA filter all you’ll do is spread allergens around the room.
This item (including website) gives no details of filter grade , so it’s pretty safe to assume it’s not a hepa.
