Wonder what sort of issues they'll have this time!

    • +3

      Same old. Not tracking

      • Use the CR app when buying from FC

        • I've had more luck with tracking when I use my phone.

        • This deal is perfect for you =D

      • Ive had some non tracking issues as well recently

      • +1

Never had an issue with CR tracking my purchase. As always purchase got tracked, rather super quick this time around, within 15 minutes.

    • I have an upsize from May that was due to be paid in August which has been delayed til now….Guessing I won't get that :(

      • Is that the one from May 26? I got paid for that one. Might need to contact customer service and see what's up with that

        • Yeah every week I contact, every week they say they are waiting for first choice. Grr!!

          • @csjc: Yeah, same as me.
What exactly are they waiting for?

          • @csjc: Had one like this from feb, eventually they decided to pay it out of pocket (like 3m overdue)

      • May was so far away!
I'm still waiting for my last one to be tracked.

at least your password isnt leaked to scammers in africa

  • stupid 5km radius

    • +1

      'essential needs'

    • If you cant even reach a First Choice after driving 5km, you might as well not bother.

    • +1

You don't have to collect it within the fortnight mate ;) 5km will be removed within weeks

      • +1

Pickup within 4 working days from memory.

        • +2

Collection of Click & Collect orders: Collection of Orders is from the Click & Collect Collection Point. Collection will be available within the timeframe specified from when the order has been placed (60 minute Click and Collect is only applicable to orders within retail limits). First Choice will store your purchases for 5 business days for you to collect. If you do not collect your order in this timeframe, the stock will be returned to the shelf for resale and your credit card will be refunded the purchase price.

        • *5 typo.

    • who's going to stop you? theres no checkpoints

  • Used to be a love heart

  • +4

OMG $20 just for the cap? How much for the entire bottle?

    • -1

      Yeah nah mate

      • -1

How much for the entire bottle? There’s a cap on that too

  • Is Cashrewards reliable please? Do you have to apply to get your rewards discount back. Thx

    • easy with paypal

    • +3

Sounds like you've never used cashrewards. No, you don't apply to get your cashback. You first need to register an account with Cashrewards, then click the link, e.g. first choice liquor, from within Cashrewards, complete your transaction. That's it. You can check your cashback on Cashrewards if it's tracked.

      • Many thanks !!

  • Thanks Op. hope to combine with $20 bonus cashback (targeted offer) which is set to expire tomorrow

Is it just me or 1st choice is lacking a bit of range with Cartons these days? No Cartons of Stone and Wood Pacific Ale or Balter XPA

    • My thoughts exactly. They dont even have run of the mill cartons of james squires. This case of S&W Pacific ale will be my last. Its barely got any taste to it, total waste of money. I dunno what they have done. Heading to Byron before end of the year so keen to see how it tastes on tap from their at the brewery and ask them whats going on.

      • Balter was sold to CUB late last year. And as usual CUB will destroy the product by cutting corners.. That’s what’s up.

          • @chowmanly: Never mind, you were talking about stone and wood ,I didn’t realize, sorry.
As far as I know stone and wood is still independent, their bottled beers is nice but not even close to the taps.

            • @chowmanly: Yep is still independent. Lion used to own shares but the founders bought them back.

            • @chowmanly: Good to know! Bit unfortunate. Pacific ale was a bit of a staple but its very poor now based on this case i have. May as well just buy a cheaper beer or go imported.

  • Time will tell what changes between now and then. Have eyed up a thing or two (in stock). Looking forward to 20% CR assuming prices and stock remain.

  • was waiting for something like that to use with $20 Targeted offer and it is my 1st choice to shop

  • +1

I'm still waiting on my $20 from Feb so I think I'll pass.

  • And my favourite whiskey is on special. How fortuitous. :)

  • -2

Cash back is ex GST which is a little bit sneaky.

    • +7

      you must be new :)

    • Yeah I noticed that as well

Anyone had any issues with processing payment ? Trying to purchase on both Safari and Chrome and keep getting a payment processing error, never had this problem! :|

  • Anyone else having trouble checking out? Neither card or PayPal is working for me.

    • Yeap same for me. Have tried twice and goes nowhere. Probably getting hit hard by OZB!

      • +2

Failed with CC, but worked with PayPal first time

        • +1

Likewise. I didn't want to use Paypal but in this instance gave it a go and went through first time.

          • @Borg: Can confirm - Paypal works! My CC didn't so I had to use Paypal

  • +1

    Joining the 'can't pay' bandwagon

Edit: looks like a general error with the payment systems as opposed to just first choice? Even chrome 'can't verify card'. Both Amex and Visa

    • Payment Systems and not just First Choice. Why? It has nothing to do with Chrome. Its 100% First Choice having a problem as one can't check out and pay.
      Other places are fine.

  • Cashback has tracked incorrectly for me - ordered 1x Heineken 500ml and 1x Peroni red 330ml cartons and only the Heineken tracked despite being in the same order.

    edit: has updated itself.

    • Ohh peroni reds were cheap. Got some cheers.

  • Yeah me the same. I paid $102 and it only tracked that I spent $49.08 and im getting $9.82 cashback…..
    edit
it says $18.54 now in my account…

    • Seems they track items individually.

  • Went over the limit but nabbed some Glenmorangie and Mercury draught cider.

  • Tracked in 14 mins probably the quickest ever for me

Got a bottle of whisky Bruichladdich Classic Laddie 700mL - $73.64 after CB ($90 RRP, CB $16.36).

Thanks OP! Dan Murphy's and Boozebud selling for $98.60.

FYI Cashback tracked in 7 minutes from purchase.

  • Barely any stock for Victoria!

  • Anyone looking for a Vodka - this is likely a very good deal: https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/spirits/smirnoff-red-vo…

Smirnoff Red 1.15lt works out to be $45 (click and collect) after cash back.

    Thanks OP!

  • $20 tracked for me. Spent $1500 on vodka to get me to next week.

    • Dayummm you're balling mate! I gotta give you a credit though, you still tried to save $ 20 after spending a ridiculous amount of $$$ for alcohol. May I suggest to put the $ 20 away for a liver transplant in the future?

      • good thinking! I wonder if I can get eBay cash back on the liver I purchase?

  • +1

Mine tracked very quickly on a mobile.

  • MIne still not tracked from 5:30pm which is a worry as CR is usually good. Will leave it a day and see what occurs.

  • Mine didn’t track. I’ve submitted a claim.

    • +1

Likewise. I am glad I took note of everything at the time. Have submitted a claim which they are looking into.
I am careful with these so know I did everything by the book when buying (Browser Wise, Ad-Blocks off and so on).
